Just thought I would put a wee post up tonight as we approach Halloween 🎃 week

I know most of you know the tricks n treats that work for furbabies and that some don't work for any 😪 it can be scary to navigate

1: close all windows and doors curtains drawn n ordinary sounds like tv up

2: use snoodie or bandage wrap to dull fireworks 🎆

3: weighted coat

4: den under kitchen table or blackout curtain drapped over crate

5: play firework sounds low on phone during daylight hours to desensitise

6: distract with games or toys.

7: dogs water intake dropping just 10% can cause severe dehydration (can be fatal) please remember if you are using extra treats as reward/distraction or sedatives that fluid intake needs to be increased/monitored. Stress n panting increases fluid loss.

8: keep human sweets and chocolate out of reach

9: ensure fancy dress costumes for dogs do not hamper their happiness or health

10: give them a cuddle or space whichever they prefer

Hi everyone ☺️ As much as I hate to write this post 🙈 we are down to the last 2grooms before Xmas 😱

Can I please ask you all to send through the dates you would like for your 2 next appts today. That way I can sort as many as possible tonight to get the best chance to give appts suit everyone. I can't do everyone the Xmas week!!

Any appts booked for December will require a £15 per dog deposit which can be paid at grooming appt in Oct/Nov or via PayPal.

Thank you all so much for your continued loyalty and support 🙏 ❤️ like all small businesses its been tough but thanks to you and your puppers its been worth it to keep going ###

When someone else pays for your pamper session you make sure you take full advantage of the services available 😉 🤣🐶 Little Murphy getting some bang for his buck 💙🐶🙈

If these little ones don't count as the most vulnerable in our society, what has our society come to?? I have unfortunately seen 1st hand what happens when our furbabies needs aren't catered for correctly... No blame on anyone sometimes their beautiful outer coat hides a world of hurt. This has been a passion of mine for many years, and a love for many more.. My 1st baby lady was as important to my family as my next 2 baby girls. I can provide a safe environment, with the best and cleanest equipment, and zero human interaction. What I ask from you is these few questions.... Am I suffering his/her smell Is my dog loving his/her life right now Is my dog loving the stank, and us at home?? If the answer is yes.... I will see you all at a later date 😁💕🐶 Is my dog licking paws or biting Is my dog shaking or scratching ears more than normal Is my dog more lethargic than normal, minus us humans being at home all the time 😉 Is my dog matted, especially between legs n body or underneath in the groin area or around the ears Can I keep the eyes clear and tear free If not I will see you ASAP (only 1 dog/ones from the same house hold per day) I can only do my best, and what feels right... My family are all at home, all procedures regarding, social distancing and hygiene will be adhered too. I welcome any suggestions or advice and opinions going forward xx
