Only used Licensed Dog Boarders to safeguard your pets❗️🐾

Torridge Council are currently aware of a small number of unlicensed businesses advertising dog boarding services on social media sites, which we are investigating

People should only trust their pets to Licensed dog boarders and pet day care providers who work hard to meet licensing conditions, which fall under The Animal Welfare Act 2006.

The council also work with potential businesses to help them meet the necessary conditions and to raise standards.

So before boarding your dog, please check out the list of licensed businesses here https://torridge.gov.uk/article/19968/Public-registers or ring our licensing department on 01237 428796 to ensure the dog boarding service you use is licensed.

I am so pleased with the way the field is looking and it is wonderful to get such positive feed back from customers and their fantastic dogs.
Some just want to run, some want to chase a ball and some love playing with the new agility equipment.
Which ever it is we just want you to have fun. 🐕

I have been contacted by someone that has a 2 and a half year old collie she wants some help with. Can anybody recommend a dog trainer - please just recommend people you have personal experience with.

All mowed and back tidy again. Have fun with your dog in a level & secure field. The is a picnic table to sit at and enjoy the view.

The sun is shining but the east wind is chilly! The mowing season has started again and the field is looking good after the winter.

Some good news 😁.
We have been granted planning permission to extend the opening hours of the dog field to -
7am- 7.30pm Monday to Friday when daylight hours allow but we have to remain at 9am - 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.
I know several of you will be pleased with this 🐕🐕‍🦺

I have been contact by the owners of some large dogs that use the field that are extremely concerned about the number of tennis balls and other small balls left in the field by previous users.
These can easily choke a large dog and this can be fatal so please please ensure you remove all your toys and balls when you leave the field.

Hi everyone, I hope you have all been having fun in the field. We love to the photos of your dogs having fun.

Just to let you know the horses will probably be going in to the paddock from late on Monday 9th until lunch time on Tuesday 10th not the 11th and 12th as previously stated.
