Dear Clients,

I have some sad news for you.
Due to finding myself in a very unfortunate situation with my rental where I operate my groom room from, I have had to find myself a new home.

The Universe has guided me back to Wales, where I grew up, so I will be closing my dog grooming business here (and doggy daycare business) with effect from the end of the year.

Thank you and I shall miss all your wonderful dogs ❤

Before & After today for this sweet youngster (Cockapoo) who is a regular. As you can see, she is more cocker than poodle!

Owners wanted her short everywhere as she goes to thd beach twice a day.

It's been a busy morning, walking this gorgeous puppy who is staying for his first overnighter, after a few half days of daycare recently.

Then grooming this regular lovely Dachshund. His brother is in tomorrow morning for his groom.

This lovely Cavachon came in for her first groom with me today. Beautiful temperament & was as good as gold; lovely girl.

It had been 3 months since her last groom due to circumstances out of the owner's control so she was more matted in some places than normal but now we can keep on top with regular grooms.

She hated having her head dried so I took her off the grooming table, turned the blaster down low and dried her head from a distance to cause minimal stress. She was fine then! Your dog's comfort & wellbeing is always my priority.

Groomed this lovely youngster today for the first time. I had to take her down short because she was pretty matted. Her ear length will grow but unfortunately the matts were right up against her pinna (edge of ear leather) so I couldn't rescue the length.

Now we can keep on top of her grooms and next time will be quicker & easier for her.

Absolute sweetheart!

Little M back for his 6 month handstrip.
He was particularly wriggly today so lots of breaks & few of his treats were needed.

We will leave for 7 months next time so the coat is blown even more all over. And I may split the session over two mornings. He is only young still.

A super Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier in this morning who was overdue a groom. Owners wanted a pet trim and to take him down short.

Here's my dog bath so you can size it up against those upper medium size dogs. My Blue who is a Portuguese Water dog is 25kg and fits but wouldn't want to be any bigger or heavier than him!

Directions for anyone driving:

Park in the back car park of Tesco (by driving to the right of main building signposted "Deliveries & Additional Parking") NB you only have a maximum of 2 hours parking and it's camera operated so be careful.

Park over to the far left and you'll see a cut through foot path which leads to my road, Vale Lane.

Mine is the lemon coloured house. Enter via black gate at your appointment time.

A warm welcome greets you and your dog to my little groom room in Vale Lane, Axminster. Easy & free parking at Tesco Axminster to drop off & collect.

I will ensure your dog's comfort is a priority, building in breaks. I don't operate a conveyor belt and allow ample time for a relaxed and enjoyable experience as much as I can. Please note, I only have room to accommodate small to medium size dogs. Do drop me a message if you are not sure.

I qualified in City & Guilds Dog Grooming in October 2020 and am now officially launching my own business here at home Monday-Saturday mornings. Please browse through the photos on this page which showcase some of my work since 2020.

I qualified in October 2020 after an intensive training in person at the amazing Shaw Dog Grooming Academy with Sam Shaw in Sidmouth.
There were 3 of us training over the 4 months, 3 days a week which ensured we got the most out of our practical & theoretical training with plenty of 1:1 support from Sam our Trainer.
