Unfortunately I’ve had a no show this afternoon, so instead I’m spending the next 2 hours enjoying the salon views in this glorious weather with my boy, he loves a good sunbathe! 🥰

Just a polite reminder to please provide a minimum of 48hrs notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. Unfortunately last minute no shows and cancellations result in an appointment that cannot be filled and loss of earnings. My cancellation policy is in place to try to minimise this from happening.

A polite reminder that dogs with fleas are not accepted for grooming, if you notice your dog has fleas please do let me know as soon as possible so appointments can be rebooked

Fleas are rife at the moment so please do check your dogs prior to their appointment, if your dog has fleas on arrival 50% of the groom will be charged plus an additional fee to flea bomb the salon

🦟LET’S TALK FLEAS & TICKS!🦟
Unfortunately as the weather warms up these unwanted pests are making an appearance, I’ve removed a total of 12 ticks in just one weekend!

PREVENTION :
Please make sure to keep your dog up to date with all of their flea & worm treatment, make sure your treatment covers for ticks as well if you can!
It’s handy to set a reminder so you don’t miss a treatment ⏰

WHERE :
TICKS are often picked up in wooded areas or patches of overgrown vegetation. Ticks resemble tiny spiders and are generally black in colour, changing to a greyish brown colour once attached. Be sure to check for ticks after walking your dog in these areas
FLEAS like warm, humid places. They can be found in trees, shrubs, and tall grass. Fleas are small, flat-bodied and dark brown

DID YOU KNOW!
Flea eggs can lay dormant in your carpet for up to a year! Eggs hatch and around a week later turn into larvae. Larvae love dark, warm places such as carpets, upholstery, cushions and pet bedding 😳
If your dog has fleas, treat your home as well as your dog!

If you would like your dogs bathing in flea & tick shampoo please let me know before their visit. Please note, this shampoo is not a treatment it just helps with prevention
