Maggie has come out of her shell 🥰, we love seeing dogs gain confidence at daycare. Maggies favourite thing to do is to snuggle up to Claire for cuddles, she also loves playing with her friends 🐾😁.

The dogs all had a blast this morning before the heat made its way. The are now all having 1-1 time with the staff in the shade 🥵.
Milo has well and truly made himself at home (just like his brother Winston did !!!).

When Willow first started daycare she was very unsure and quite scared. We have taken it slowly and at her pace to help her settle. We can confidently say Willow has come out of her shell and is starting to enjoy her days with us 🥰. This morning (before I'd got to warm) Fly was her designated buddy. Willow also loves her favourite member of staff Claire.

Are you prepared for today's sunshine 😎
We have just covered the dog den in thermal sheeting to keep our canine guests nice and cool.
We will also be bringing up our fans, now time to get the paddling pool cleaned and replenished ready for the warm day ahead ☀️🐾.

Winston has certainly made his presence known on his first day of daycare !!!
This big lovable lad has well and truly stole the hearts of the staff. Poppy is absolutely delighted with her new playmate 🥰. We thought maybe Winston would be to much for little Poppy but she certainly made it clear she wanted him as her friend 🐾🐕.
(This was this morning before it got to hot)

Tunnel playtime, storm has decided the tunnels are hers 🤣.
The dogs will be taking it slower today due to the heat. Lots of paddling and calmer exercise to avoid heat stroke, Enjoy the sunshine everyone 😎☀️.

New boys Oscar and Pedro enjoyed there first experience of daycare today 🥰. Perfectly behaved,we couldn't have asked for better. Everyone had lots of fun today enjoying a bit of warmth 🐾🐕.

New boy Teddy settled in well today, he had time to take in his surroundings and had lots of cuddles with the staff !!! The little black floof is adorable.
The others had a fabulous time as always charging around the field 🤣🐕.

Exciting news!!! Amy’s back!!!
Due to increased boarding demand we have struggled to have space for our day care gang. So we have built a purpose day care play area which Amy will supervise.
We are really blessed that Amy said yes to taking charge of this project and we can’t wait to see the new area develop and have new guests.

Mum working hard. Luckily she’s experienced with 11 pups to care for. These cameras are great, not requiring cables where Wi-Fi won’t reach.

In 2015 we did pre deployment training with this dog on Scarfell Pike. Unexpectedly he found an injured woman with young child suffering onset of hypothermia and a broken ankle. He could only do this because we had trained him to ignore livestock and sheep running around him. He went on to serve a distinguished career. With the proposed ban on ecollar a this would not have been possible. Please support Jamie Penrith from Take the Lead Dog Training in fighting the ban and keep our dogs safe.

Lunar has found her confidence, here she is with Rufus,Margo and Poppy enjoying the snow ❄️.

Fresh blankets for the cavie gang, everyone is going to be nice and cosy tonight !!! For anyone worried about there dogs during these cold temps rest assured all dogs have heated kennels 😁❄️.
