About me - Rachel at Waggy Tail Dog Grooming and Pet Services

Hi my name is Rachel,

I am originally from Paignton in Devon, but have lived and worked in Derbyshire for the past 22 years.

I have always had a love and passion for all animals from a young age, having had family dogs and cats all throughout my life. In addition to this, I have bred and showed Dwarf Lop Rabbits. I have also owned a horse called Misty for many years.

I currently have 3 Shelties, Misty was a rescue dog (7 years old), Isla (5 years) and Merlin which is Misty’s pup (3 years old), they are my world and give me great pleasure in walking them and looking after their every need. Merlin has been blind from birth and Isla has epilepsy which has given me a greater understanding for dogs with disabilities and how to provide and care for them, it is a challenge at times but extremely rewarding.
