An established Cornish Flyball Club, 4x4 has its base a stone’s throw from Bodmin, which puts it within easy reach from most of the county.

4x4 Flyball Club was established to promote flyball in Cornwall and between 2015 and 2021 it ran teams in tournaments sanctioned by the British Flyball Association. We welcome new members, so… if your dog enjoys playing with a tennis ball or you just want to help out please contact us. We also would welcome those who are dog lovers, but are not able to house one of their own.

It is with some sadness that we announce the decision to close 4x4 Flyball Club.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported the club over the years. There are so many wonderful friendships and fantastic memories which have been made along the way.

CARDINHAM WOODS CLOSED!
The Rangers have just about managed to get to the woods safely, however they have made the decision to keep Cardinham closed until it has thawed a little.
The car park is like an ice rink and it wouldn't be safe or sensible to encourage visitors to pop down. Check back here for updates later. Stay safe everyone and only travel if it is necessary ❄️

The Judge is the lovely Tom Herron, who trained me (Cathy) and four of our dogs through to obtaining the Gold Level of The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme.
No training Sunday 31st July as we will be at the Lanivet K9Kapers Companion Dog Show. We will be running the have-a-go flyball and doing two demonstrations.
There are lots of other activities as well, so hope to see you there. 😃
Sunday 10th July, we had a great training session with a special visit from Ellis aka Through the Lens.
As it was very warm, we shortened each session to give the dogs longer breaks to sit in the shade and/or take a dip in one of the pools.
All the dogs did very well, however, two need a special mention:
• Otto who hadn’t forgotten anything in his year away, full runs with a perfect box turn.
• Truffle, 4th session and on her third attempt with the ball in the box, did a perfect full run with a perfect box turn.
Nutmeg was only on her first training session and doing well too.

What an amazing competition we have seen this year at Crufts 2022. Some incredible racing and faster times than ever before with the Crufts record going multiple times including twice again in the final of 14.71. What a showcase of the sport this has been!
Huge congratulations to Roadrunners Flyball Team for winning, great racing and well deserved!
Sorry but we are going to have to cancel training on Sunday. The ground is already saturated and with more rain forecast. Thought you would appreciate knowing sooner than later.
