Another hot 🥵 one. When will it end? On a positive note I have been successful in getting Reba to walk without pulling. I used Alfie’s slip rope lead in a figure of 8 looped over her nose which stopped her pulling immediately. She found it comfortable and we carried on our walk very calmly 😄😄 ⭐️ ⭐️ Ozzy spent his whole walk sniffing! Great for decreasing stress levels and it’s mentally stimulating. It was then day care for Milo, very warm so put the cool bandana on him. There was a slight breeze so he sat in the shade on the patio for a bit and played with the toys but mostly dozed. Too hot to do much else!! 🥵 🐶

Early Walkies again this morning for Ozzy & Reba followed by Luna & Alf and day care for Milo. Then feeding Luna & Coco for the last time this holiday. See you in September 🐈‍⬛

What a hot 🥵 day today!!! Very early Walkies for Ozzy & Reba then collect Luna & Milo for day care. Kept inside in the cool with the fan on and blinds closed. Played enrichment games with regular toilet stops

Be careful it’s very hot out there. It is very dangerous to be walking in this weather due to the risk of heat stroke and hot ground which can burn pads on paws. We’re keeping inside in the cool with the fan on this afternoon. Here’s Milo staring out the window sitting in the breeze and amongst the toys

Ozzy & Reba Walkies. Ozzy is doing great for a bit hairy monster. He is a Briard. I’m pretty sure he’s the biggest dog we’ve walked! So cute although very strong but understands he shouldn’t pull too much and mostly walks very well. Reba is a rescue who is quite timid and is scared by some noises and other dogs. When it’s quiet and there’s no distractions she can walk well and she will listen when asked not to pull. See you both tomorrow 🐕

At last it’s cooled down enough for Alfie and Luna to have a little play in the garden thank goodness 😅 These 2 have been wanting to run around all day but it’s been too hot. Now fast asleep in the lounge 😁 😴 Hopefully it’ll be cooler tomorrow so Luna can enjoy her holidays with us a bit more
