I dreamt of you last night. You were the last left out and were calling to me - that distinctive whinny I have come to know so well. I got you in and you trotted in circles round me in fury (occasionally stopping for grass of course) - I tucked you into bed and fed you your tea and kissed your muzzle and thanked you for looking after me and my babies so well for so long.
I owe you everything Diamond. I miss you daily and nightly. You understood people in the most incredible way.

Who says cobs can’t jump?.
In just over a month ._.eventing and this brilliant 4 year old have gone from poles to 70cm courses with not one refusal.
This baby makes it look easy. A more willing all rounder will be hard to find.

The end of one partnership and the beginning of another.
A fourth in the 80 yesterday for Seren and a third in the 90 last weekend. Esme and Diamonds first outing resulted in a 2nd in the 80 and sixth in the 90 (riding in a hailstorm!)
Seren will soon be for sale and we will be looking for 12 star home for this special pony that makes us smile daily and brings home the ribbons in style 🙏

Thank you all for your help support suggestions and kind wishes during this difficult period where our stallion Luminoso has become seriously blind. We are caring for him on a 24-hour rotating basis keeping his eyes treated and lubricated.

The vets bills on top of the lockdown of our shows and and courses puts us in a very vulnerable position. thank you for everyone who suggested that they would donate to a go fund me page, but I believe that this is not the appropriate course for a business, which we are.

We have decided that we will be selling exclusive prints and products of Luminoso to raise the money for his hospital bills as we fight to save his sight, his eyes or his life. Because of the nature of our work insurance for vet bills is not available. I have always been of the attitude that when a vet's bill is required I will think of something, so now's the time to think of something to save his life.

We will be advertising and taking pre-orders of calendars, mugs and all sizes of prints.

So I am looking for advice - If anyone reading this has experience of the printing and selling industry, or knows someone who can help us create this, to a very high quality standard, please get in touch so we can find the correct manufacturers and suppliers.

I also want to do do own label wine as a unique addition to a celebration or special occasion but I'm not sure of the licensing in order to do this so anyone who works in that industry would be delighted to hear from.

I welcome all your suggestions in the comments below

*** HARD GROUND ***

The ground is currently as hard as it could possibly get (at least in the south; I can’t speak for other parts of the country). There are no imminent competitions, and there will likely be nothing to qualify for at the moment, if at all this year. Therefore, it’s important to think twice before cantering/galloping, and definitely jumping, on the ground as it currently is. I am lucky to have a lovely arena to canter in, plus the beach when my work allows it. It really isn’t worth hammering your horse’s legs by going cantering around on this ground at the moment....and in my opinion, the ground is far too hard to go cross country schooling....
Enjoy the fact that we are hopefully heading out of the deadliest part of the pandemic, and go and hire an arena to have a canter and jump in. I’m sure the rain will return soon...
