There is going to be bird scarer going bang on Chapel Road next week , it’s going to be just past the last farm on the left as you leave the village, should make for some fast riding……! We won’t be going that way for a while!

Well done to all the riders, and those walking, for a magnificent turnout for the village pageant parade! Many people told me how splendid you all looked, and the ponies all behaved so well!

The ponies taking part in the Parade on June 2nd will be gathering at Pope’s Farm at about 6pm, before making our way to the muster point, there will be a point at which we pass the Farm again so anyone who has had enough can leave the Parade at that point? We have been asked to bring the ponies to the celebration on the Playing Fields on the Saturday afternoon, where they will be in a designated area where the public can see them but not get close enough to get to get kicked or trodden on. Please let me know if you want to bring your pony on the Saturday afternoon as well as to the Parade?

Nina Hart is organising a ride on the 18th September at 11am
as part of the BHS initiative to raise awareness of horses in the road. Last years ride was a great success and well supported by the Police. Nina has set up a page as the main method of communication, and you can join the page if you message her, or me? It is a ride with some roadwork in traffic, with Hi-Viz on, not just a trot in the woods. Please do join us if you can
