Just a little up date.

Unfortunately next week will be my last week dog walking. Everyone has been told who have regular weekly walks.

I'm due to go back to full time employment in September so for the next few months I'm focusing on a few courses I need to do before then. So I will now be doing course work every child free moment.

I will miss all the dogs I've had the chance to walk and all the animals I've looked after, it's been an amazing 6 months. Thank you for everyone who has booked whilst you're away it's meant the world but it's on to new ventures now 🥰

We hope everyone has had a lovely Easter holiday, from today we are back open to dog walks.

The number of slots available have been drastically cut due to other new commitments and ventures.

If you would like to book on for a dog walk slot please message us the Sunday before the week needed. We can not guarantee last minute bookings.

We will always have availability for pet home checks.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, we have been mega busy the last few weeks with the regular dogs we walk and home pet checks. All invoices for March have now been given out so thank you.

We are now closed for normal week day slots till after Easter. We do still offer home pet checks through out the holidays. These are priced at £5 a check, for more information please message us.

Hello, just a little update, we are fully booked for the rest of the week now.

We are now taking bookings for next week, please can all bookings be made by this Sunday. We can't guarantee availability next week if booked after Sunday. We have limited time slots so they get booked fast. All invoices for February will be given out from tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday 💚

We are starting to slowly take bookings for next week dog walks. We do a first come basis, first slot is 9 and the last slot is 11, either for half hour (£5) or an hour walk (£10) payment is via an invoice at the end of the month with just the walks your dog has had..
So if you are after dog walks in the week we have spaces opened up to be able to book on each week..days can be different each week but its all subject to.
We also have lunchtime checks available for this week and next. Priced at £4 and times are between 11 and half 12. This involves a wellness check, toilet let out and fresh water and food (if food is needed)

All we need to do is a meet and greet at least 24 hours before a booked slot takes place.

Here at whilst you're away we are use to dogs of all breeds and sizing, with loads of experience with dogs and loads of other animals. Sometimes it's nice to have a trusting reliable person to walk your dog when you have a busy day so it's one less job to do that day..also our prices are low due to only covering RMAS.

We do cover all animals for checks and looking after.. unfortunately we don't offer house sitting or boarding.

We are back open for regular timed slot from tomorrow. Please can anyone who would like to book a dog walk next week please message and let us know by tonight.
We can't guarantee if you book last minute we will have space. We are unable to hold slots, it is a first come basis. So if someone else wants to book on as the slot is available it will be booked. (I am unable to message everyone to see if they want to book on due to having more dogs now on our books)

These are our new Terms of Business in regards to bookings, payment and cancellation please read them if you use our services or are thinking of being added on.

Please note the working hours for dog walks are term time, starting at 9 and the last available dog walking slot of the day is 11. (Monday to Friday)

We do lunchtime checks from 11 till half 12 once all walks are completed.

If you do need a certain time for a walk outside of these hours please let us know and we will see if we can book it, but please note availability may be extremely limited.

We can offer other services outside of these times, for example a weekly holiday pet check. They are not limited to time slots.

If anyone needs weekend walks prices will slightly increase and again it will be subject to availability. (£15 for an hour)

If you would like to be added to the diary to start booking in for services we do need to complete a quick meet and greet at least 24 hours before the first 'service' takes place.

Friendliest dog breeds - Having conversations with loads of dog owners this is always a subject talked about. Breeds of dogs we think as friendly and breeds we try to avoid and grow a form of fear towards due to their breed.

I personally love the Retriever breed both Labrador and Golden. The ones I've come across have always been mega friendly. I just know it's not the breed of dog that makes them friendly it's the owners and how the dog is brought up and trained.

The most feared dogs (Rottweiler, German shepherd's etc..) can also be the most loyalest friendliest family dog going. Never jump to conclusions on a dog by their breed always go by how they are acting. I always go near new dogs with caution, until I can weigh up how they are by their behaviour, know matter their breed.

I do know a Golden Retriever who is so friendly and an amazing family dog.. does he like cats.. No 🤣

Hello Saturday, this is just a reminder post that we are closed next week for regular weekly walk slots due to it being the schools half term holiday. I will be spending the week with my family, i do have some availability for emergency lunchtime pet checks but I am unable to do dog walks.

I am always open for meet and greets if you would like your pets to be added to our list incase you need any services at a later date. I can't book any services in without a meet and greet being done.

Hello February, January felt like the length of two months, so really happy to see February and the start of the warmer months and lighter evenings.

Sorry for being quiet on this page, we have been fully booked since starting back in January. Thank you for all the people who have been keeping us busy. 💚

January invoices are being given out over the next week, which will be delivered on the first walk for your dog this month.

I've had a few compliments in passing over this page and all the dogs we walk, which has been so lovely to hear. Every dog we have on our books have amazing personalities and quirks, truly honoured to get to spend time with them 🥰

We have one more full week left before the end of the school term where we will have to be closed for regular weekly walks, due to child care.
We do have a couple of days with spaces for some walks but these are again being booked up fast 🙈

However, if anyone would like a meet and greet to be added to our books to be able to book on for walks please message. Unfortunately we don't offer house sitting or boarding but we have a number of other services and our prices are always low for the pets living on RMAS

(I will try and post more pet tips and advice as I know people are loving them, so please feel free to like my page to see these posts, and if you have used our services I would appreciate a little bit of love with a review)

Happy Friday, sorry for being very quiet on here, the last few weeks have been very busy with loads of walks and lunch time checks.

We still have availability for lunchtime checks (Between 11 and 1 these take place) and priced at £4. (See pinned post for details)

We also have some half hour morning weekly walks slots available (these are £5) morning walks are normally done between 9 and 11.

To be added to our diary we do need a meet and greet with you and your dog at your home. Once that is completed you can book on the weekend before the week you need. We do accept 24 hour notice for walks and lunchtime checks but it's subject to availability as we get booked up really quick.

I've attached a map image of the location we cover (royal military academy sandhurst) unfortunately we do not cover outside this area, this is why we can offer low price.
We get loads of views, messages and phone calls from people outside this area. We would love to help out but once out of this area prices will increase so much. We do love hearing from everyone and will always point you in the right direction to get the right services for your animals in your area.

Late to post... but Happy Monday.

This is the first proper week back after the Christmas holidays. Regular weekly walks are back up and running, the diary is booked up for this week. 🥰

Just a reminder to make sure you book in the weekend before if you need a walk the coming week. That way if you don't need your dog walked someone else can take up the space as the time slots are limited.

If you have any questions about what services we offer or any general questions about dog care etc please message us. 😊 also if you would like us to have a meet and greet with your dog to be added to our books if you need one off walks now and again please let us know (This has to take place before we can book any walks for you)

NEW TO 2023 🍾

Lunchtime pet checks. Special price of just £4.

Not able to get home for lunch to check on your animals we now offer a low price of just £4 for our lunchtime check. (Between 11:00 and 12:30) this price is just for the college town gate side of RMAS.

We can let your pets out in the garden for the toilet, put fresh water down and food if this is their feeding time.

Also just to do a general wellness check on them to make sure they are OK in the house. To clean up any mess if they have caused any whilst you are at work/away.
We can also change puppy pads if used.

Any issues we will contact you straight away for a peace of mind.

We do need a meet a greet for you and your animal(s) before you can be added to our list. This is just a chance for us to meet your pets and sort out access and pet needs. Once this is sorted you can either let us know the weekend before the coming week of the days you need or we can book 24 hours in advance, but this will be subject to availability at that late stage.

If you have any questions or would like to sort out a meet and greet to get on to our books in advance for when you need our services at a later date, please message us.

Happy New Year, we hope you all have an amazing 2023 and enjoyed the celebrations over the last few weeks.

Tomorrow is Bank Holiday Monday so we will be back to work Tuesday 3rd. Can i ask if you are booked on for regular weekly walks to contact us in regards to if you need walks next week as I know a lot are still on Christmas leave. (Some already have so thank you)

December 2022 invoices will be written up and left on your next scheduled walk. Going forward please can i ask if you can let us know by the weekend before if you would like your walks the coming week. That way if you don't need a walk the space can go to someone else.

We have availability for some morning half hour walks in the week (£5 college town gate side of RMAS) and we can still book one off walks as and when needed for your dog (subject to availability)

To be added to the list of the dogs we walk we do need a meet a greet prior to being added..then all you have to do is let us know the weekend before. We can book in walks with 24 hours notice if we have the availability and you have already had a meet and greet. (This is a chance for me to meet your dog(s) and work out access arrangements etc..)

We charge just £10 for an hour walk. One to one dog walking so your dog won't be mixing with other dogs we walk.
We can walk dogs from the same household (£7.50 per other dog for the hour)

Here are some fact and information on Guinea Pigs. This is mine and my daughters favourite animal. 🥰

Guinea pigs are very sociable, they can get lonely and depressed, so if you decide to get one you need to get a second (Most pet shops should tell you this)
The size of cage should be very large, even though they are small, they also need a safe space to have a run outside their cages. (We are happy to give advice on suitable size cages, some pet shops sell cages too small for them)

They need a lot of bedding in the winter months, it is advised to bring them inside in the winter months. There are several types of bedding available for Guinea Pigs to nest in, including paper-based, fleece, wood, and hay. The best bedding for a Guinea Pig is either a paper or fleece based bedding.

They can live between 4-8 years and they do still need vet visits from time to time.

If anyone is thinking of getting a Guinea pig as a pet we are happy to answer any questions you may have. I spent my childhood having loads of pet Guinea Pigs.

We also offer a pet service for home checks on them when you go on holiday (starting from £5 a day) 💚

We had a busy day yesterday being our last walking day of the year so no post was put up yesterday. But here is today's breed of dog.

The Chihuahua, this dog is the perfect breed for people who live busy life styles. Due to their size they only need short daily walks, and even shorter ones In the winter months. They do need the right type of coat for the colder months, this is an essential item to purchase for them.

Today's dog breed is the American Staffordshire Terrier.

The American Staffordshire Terrier is very similar to the Staffordshire Bull Terriers but Americans are larger in both height and weight.
They are similar to a pit bull breed but they are slightly different in appearance.

These breeds of dogs have a 'bad' reputation as being a bully breed, but they are an incredibly trustworthy dog.
They are playful, gentle and tolerant. This breed is good with children and other animals, but not necessarily other dogs.

However, they do need an owner who is willing to train them and give their mind stimulation. They love to play and get loads of exercise.

A dog is not aggressive unless taught to be. 💚

Todays chosen breed is the Golden Retriever. This breed needs to be properly trained as they tend to have a rough play manner to them, but they are so eager to learn 🥰

Golden Retrievers also needs to be brushed daily, their thick fur coats (very good in cold weather) easily gets sticks and leaves tangled in it. So you will need to get a good brush when you purchase dog accessories for them.

We also recommend that you get a harness for when they are out and about, they are very strong and can easily pull if not trained. (We have previously posted a sizing chart for dog 'gear')

The Golden Retriever breed makes a lovely family dog as long as you have the time and patience for them 💚

Pets aren't just for Christmas but realistically people do tend to buy pets as presents for Christmas. Animals are expensive and a very big commitment but for some people pets are the ideal gift at Christmas. So it's better to give people information to help make the right decision. So on this page we will be sharing facts about different breeds and types of animals.

Today's one is a breed I myself have, a Labrador. She really makes our family complete but she is a massive commitment that I'm glad I have in my life. 😁

Christmas will soon be here..

I've had a few people ask about pet care services over the festive period.

The price per day is £5 this covers one visit to your house, feeding of all pets (no matter how many) watering of indoor plants, putting post and any parcels in a safe indoor location..making sure your pets and house is OK. This is roughly a half hour visit.
For Christmas eve, Christmas day, boxing day, New years eve and New year's day the price goes up to £10 due to the dates.

If you require cage maintenance, litter changing and clean up of mess etc this is an additional fee of just £10 for the whole duration. If its one week or 2 weeks etc that cost stays the same.

We try to keep our fees down, but we have to take in to consideration time, services and travel to and from. These prices are only for RMAS. Outside of that petrol prices will be added.

We have just one space available for the 2 main weeks of Christmas for this service. If you would like to book, a home meet and greet of animals need to take place beginning of next week or it will be too late to book on.

We do offer this for dogs, we recommend this type of service for a maximum of a few days, and they will need 2/3 visits per day. Personally anything longer we recommend boarding or house sitting for them. (We do not offer this service unfortunately)

After the post earlier we have had a few questions about dog coats, i found this useful sizing guide for dog 'gear'. It is important dogs wear the right size collar, harness, coat etc for their size and breed. Every dog is different 💚

Happy Wednesday, the first day of frosty mornings. Beautiful but oh so cold. Morning walk today meant rolling in the frosty grass for one dog. He was enjoying the change in weather.

We thought its now the time to share information on keeping dogs warm whilst out and about. We have also asked owners to provide coats for the walks going forward until the temperatures rise again to above 8c. Here is some information on breeds of dogs needing coats more than others and the signs of when coats are needed.

Some dogs are lucky enough to have a second undercoat in the winter to help protect them from the elements but others need us to help them stay warm.
Dogs can get hyperthermia so it's very important for the dogs we walk as most walks are for an hour. If anyone wants any help with the right type of coat to get your breed of dog please message and we will be happy to help.

We still have christmas dates for home and pet care services if you are away for the Christmas holidays. But for now stay warm 💚

Are you going away for the Christmas holiday? do you need a trustworthy, reliable company in the sandhurst area to look after your house whilst you're away. Then look no further..

Our home care package is £10 a day for a full check..

What does this include:

Morning house sort -opening curtains. Removing post/parcels and putting them in a desired place. Making sure everything that needs to stay on whilst you're away is working.

If you have plants/flowers they will be watered or if you have fish they will be fed. (This is included for free if you have plants/fish)

Then a night time check to make sure everything is still safe and secure, curtains are closed.

This could also involve turning off and on lights if this is what you do for peace of mind whilst away.

Then before you are due back, I offer an included light vac and dust of the house.

Only need a small house check package, this is 1 house check a day and priced at £5 a day, this is the same as the full house check package but in just one check. (The light vac and dust isn't included in this package unfortunately)

You can add the service of fresh milk and bread at home for when you get back. This is charged at £5 to cover the price of items and collection.

This price is for the area local/ in Sandhurst academy (that's why im able to offer low pricing), outside this area the price will be more depending on mileage.

It's been another busy week for Whilst you're away, 16,000 steps walked a day taking out all the dogs. We only have one regular walking slot available (Monday morning) we are fully booked after that.
