With a varied diet!

Including a variety of proteins in your pet's diet can help prevent food allergies.

A flavourful meal plan ensures that their gut isn't experiencing one flavour repeatedly - which is often how food allergies occur.

Plus, the protein structure in raw meat is different to cooked, meaning proteins that once caused stomach upsets on a kibble diet may not have the same effect on a raw diet.

Meet Henry!

Henry has just moved onto a Nutriment diet to help improve his 💩!

Henry came into care Diane Hart The Sheepdog/Collie Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre after veterinary intervention. Initally very nervous he is now a firm member of the pack and hopefully with some good nutrition to improve his digestion, he will be in the best possible condition to help find a fur-ever home.

Henry is just one for the many dogs benefitting from your kind donations during our campaign.

We tried the viral egg enrichment mat challenge as a base for our breakfast this week and it's fair to say it was a massive hit.

Exercise doesn't have to be limited to a walk!

Hydrotherapy, is a great option for over weight pets.

The resistance from the water means that your pet has to work just that little bit harder. But, because it's non weight bearing, there isn't additional strain on their joints.

Been advised to do an elimination diet but not sure what one is or where to start? We're here to help.

Elimination diets are used to determine what allergen is causing your pet to be so uncomfortable.

Every 2-4 weeks, you should introduce a new protein into your pet's diet to see if there is a reaction. When you see a flare up, then you can determine what their allergy is, based on what food you've introduced and avoid it with all future foods.

Throughout their diet, you should be tracking everything they eat - including treats!
