As Spring starts, there are more things to watch out for to keep our dogs safe! 🍫

Some of the most commonly known Easter dangers to our dogs are chocolate and raisins, but did you know flowers like daffodils and tulips can also be poisonous to our four-legged friends?

Spring is also a popular time to lay grass seed. Buddy once got a grass seed stuck inside his ear, as he liked to roll around in the grass. Check your dog's paws for grass seeds after a walk, and make sure to give your vet a ring if you think your dog has had a bite of any Spring flowers, chocolate or raisins.

Meet Zuca 🐶🐾

Zuca came to stay with us just for one night recently. She's been born and raised in Portugal...and so we realised doesn't understand English commands 😂

Luckily, we didn't need to brush up on our Portuguese because rolling over and asking for belly rubs seems to be a universal language.

In his later years, Buddy preferred not to be around other dogs and we struggled to find anywhere in Staffordshire that could board him with one-on-one care. So – we decided to start offering this service ourselves in our family home! We…

✅ Offer one-on-one exclusivity, so your dog (or dogs!) can be the only dogs we have staying with us (for a small additional fee)
✅ Treat your dogs as one of the family – with lots of love, walks and play!
✅ Are fully licensed by Cannock Chase Council (they gave us 4* in our first year because we took the extra time to do higher level qualifications and meet higher standard regulations)
✅ Qualified in dog first aid & emergency care
✅ Level 3 qualified in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare
✅ Have a big, secure garden for your dog to play in.
