I always check the temperature during periods like this and may cancel sessions if it's going to be a risk to the dogs.

Unfortunately we have had quite a few not showing up for their appointments this week, this is really not fair as we are a small but busy salon and we have been turning people away.
Please if you can't make it message or ring and give plenty of notice so we can fill the appointment time.
We don't charge a missed appointment fee at the moment but may have to in the future

Yes please to starting that grooming process early. Get used to brushing at home and understand the skin. My webinar with Jo Angus will help you with maintenance of the coat and skin. https://www.animallovepetfirstaid.co.uk/educational-webinars

It is so very important to start early, also the groomer/dog relationship will be a more united one if you introduce them as soon as possible.

Please do not leave these poor dogs to get matted and dislike something that is important for them for the rest of their lives. It may seem like its just hair, but that hair needs to be cared for to help skin health.
