This is something I thought I wouldn’t have to write but after almost 3 years of Hounds and Horses, I am no longer offering my services from the 1st of August due to me moving away.
I have enjoyed every last minute of working with all your lovely animals and met some great people and made friends along the way 🥰
I can’t thank everyone enough for helping me support my small business, you have all made this an incredible time. You’ll all be greatly missed ❤️

With the heatwave we’ve been having and still going on, remember that our beloved pets can struggle with it and don’t deal with it like we do ☀️
Please keep your pets safe in this weather as well as yourselves !!
And remember 1 missed walk won’t kill your dog but 1 walk in this heat might !

Busy day today 😴
8 horses fed and hay’d up, 5 dogs walked, another 2 horses turned out and mucked out, then managed to fit in a ride on my own pony before evening feeds !🐴🐶

Sycamores Again!

It doesn’t seem ten minutes since we all started to relax about last year’s bumper sycamore seed crop.

Unfortunately now they’ve started sprouting. Seedlings can contain high levels of Hypoglycin A, the toxin that causes Atypical Myopathy.

This haul was from a tiny patch of field under sycamore trees that had been raked and gathered of as many seeds as possible every day over autumn.
