I cannot stress the importance of keeping your dog cool in this weather. DO NOT WALK your dog in this heat. You dog will not die from missing a walk and if you must only walk early in the morning or very late in the evening. Keep your dogs safe everyone.

So proud of my daughter in her path to becoming a dog trainer. She has been working so hard and the rosettes show that. A first for the most tricks and multiple other awards in various other category’s. If a 11 year old can do it then so can you. Had a follow up session with these 3 today and wow the owner has done her homework. These beautiful dogs had been suffering with reactivity, pulling and recall issues. The owner has put to work the training I gave her and has been consistent and it shows. It was great to see these 3 all walking together on a loose lead and ignoring other dogs and distractions and in return an owner with a beaming smile enjoying the walk. The off lead recall is also getting better all the time while slowly building the distraction. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the next session you are smashing it.

Time is precious in our day. We all have to work, then on our free time we have chores that need to be done and family time that is of the upmost of importance. Hell I am a dog trainer and sometimes I don’t get the time in the day I would like to train my own dogs. Here’s where the importance of getting the family involved in the training. 90 % of my time is not training peoples dogs but there owners in how to train their dogs. Transfer this training to your family members and boom more engagement is built with your dog from the whole family and the easier the training becomes. A big shout out to my clients Neil Tovey and Sean Tovey today. During their training session today it became very clear that they have been putting in the work. Both the dogs have come a long way and I can see how much more confident they are in handling and training both of there beautiful dogs. There is still some work to do but I know they are going to smash it. Well done guys keep up the good work and looking forward to the next session.

It’s been a busy week working with loads of different dogs all with different issues and training requirements. One that stood out for me this week was Welly the Curly Coated Retriever. The owner wants to start working Welly on a shoot. We therefore have been working on his retrieve and recall and transitioned from a retrieve dummy to a realistic pheasant dummy. It did not take him long to get the hang of it and I am confident that with consistent training he will be ready for the next season. Hi all, apologies for the lack of posting I have been incredibly busy completing 121 training with my clients and have neglected social media. However with that in mind I thought I would post a picture of the beautiful Max who was photobombed by Mila who I was working with today who has developed some anxiety towards loud noises. After discussing with the owners we have come up with a plan to help resolve the issue going forward. The owners now have some homework and am looking forward to the next session.

Had a great puppy training session today with Freddy. What a beautiful now little boy soon but soon to be very big. The owner has a great understanding of the breed and their temperament which will aid in the training.

Everyone please be aware of the trainers you contact to help with a behaviour issue. Don’t fall for the bu****it and look at reviews and results posted by the trainer. I have been working with a lovely dog with severe reactivity towards other dogs and excessive pulling. The owner informed the that she had 2 previous trainers work with her and both informed the owner that the dog should be euthanised and another did one visit and never come back. This absolutely sickens me to the core, if you don’t have the skills to work with the dog simple say and just walk away. This isn’t the first time I have heard this and the names of the trainers and I am sure not the last. Rant Over!!

Been working with this client now for a few weeks. Her dog was extremely reactive towards her chickens and unfortunately had killed a couple of them. She has been working incredibly hard and has now gotten to the position where she can now walk past them without any issue. Still a long way to go but the progress is great.
