Bounce Dogs will be under new ownership from 01/01/2024.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of loyal customers over the last 5 years since we opened in 2018.

The field will continue to run as it is for the time being, and the new owners will be in contact in due course.

XL Bulldog (Banned Breed) Update

Unfortunately due to the updated Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 we are no longer able to accommodate XL Bully’s even if you have a Certificate of Exemption for your dog.

Our field does not meet the specifications to allow any dogs that come under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 to be off lead and unmuzzled (not meeting the legal conditions of having the dog in a public place) at our site.

If your dog does not meet the Banned Breed Standard then you are still more that welcome to attend our facility, please see below for more details on Breed Standards.

The government has created its own specifications (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/official-definition-of-an-xl-bully-dog/official-definition-of-an-xl-bully-dog) for the breed, which includes the size of their head and muzzle, their build, and the height and length of their body. Breed name, genetics and parentage are not considered.
The government has confirmed that the minimum height specified is a necessary requirement to meet the XL bully type specifications. The height should be measured from the ground to your dog’s withers (the top of the shoulders). For adult males this is from 20 inches, and females from 19 inches. If your dog does not meet this height requirement, they will not be typed as an XL bully.

There has been some litter and dog poo left at the field this morning.

Such a shame a small minority have to ruin our facilities for everyone else.

This is just a reminder anyone found not clearing up after themselves will be banned from using our facilities.

The field will be back open on Tuesday 31st January. Bookings are available as normal online at www.bouncedogs.co.uk.

If we have continuous rainfall throughout February we may have to close again for a week or so to let the ground rest. We will keep you updated on Facebook.

The gate is working as normal again but please note if there has been substantial rainfall it does swell and become quite stiff.

There are 6 x DIY agility jumps available to use when the ground is soft enough. Please remember you use these at your own risk and please put them back after.

🚨 Lastly please remember to clean up after your dogs. Bags & bins provided 🚨

Please only let your dogs off of the lead once you are in the SECURE FIELD.

The first section as you walk in the gate IS NOT SECURE do not let your dogs off of their lead in this area.

‼️Another (NOT SO) polite reminder to pick up your dogs mess 💩 ‼️

I picked up ⚠️8 bags⚠️ of dog mess this afternoon on top of that which another customer picked up this morning.

Although some people think it is, clearing up after your dogs is not included in the price of the field hire!

We provide BAGS & A large bin for you to dispose of your dogs waste so you do not need to take it home with you. The least you can do is put it in a bag we provide, for us to dispose of!

DO NOT RUIN OUR FACILITY FOR THOSE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERS.

Hi all,

Due to the recent heavy rainfall the field is very muddy at the moment. If need be you can reschedule as normal on our website up to 12hrs prior to your booking.

If still visiting be prepared with some extra towels and good footwear 🥾

Whilst we appreciate people clearing up after their dogs please use the bins provided to put your used poo bags in.
There is a very large wheely bin on site plus 2 smaller metal bins for when the wheely bin gets collected. If the wheely bin is in the field please use it.

Have a go agility workshop October half term Thursday 28th October 11.45am to 12.45pm children welcome. This is an opportunity to try your dogs at agility, all dogs need to be at least a year old, location ; Writtle £15 per dog, message for registration and further details.

🚨 Another poo rant 💩 😡

Please please please clear up after you dog, there are poo bags AND bins provided on our premises!

No excuse for not clearing up after your dog.

You wouldn’t go out for a normal dog walk without clearing up after them so don’t do it on our premises!

Anyone found not clearing up after their dog and disrespecting our facilities will be banned from using it.
