Time for an updated price list;

Chickens (March '24 onwards); £10 each
Layers Feed (Pellets and Mash, 20kg); £12.50
Straw Bales (standard size); £2.50 each

We have held off a chicken price rise for as long as possible, but unfortunately we have had to raise the price to £10 each from March 2024 to cover the rising hatchery and utility costs.

We are unloading a huge delivery this morning which is blocking the farm entrance but we are still open - please park on the farmhouse drive or anywhere around the farm entrance and we will come out to you - thank you!

Mandatory housing measures for all poultry and captive birds in Norfolk, Suffolk and parts of Essex are to be introduced from 00:01 on 12 October 2022, following a decision by the United Kingdom’s Chief Veterinary Officer.

The housing order legally requires all bird keepers in these hotspots to keep their birds indoors and to follow stringent biosecurity measures to help protect their flocks from the disease, regardless of type or size.

As our 2022 chicken season has now ended, we'd like to thank all our customers - it's been lovely seeing so many new faces, and a treat to catch up with familiar ones and hear how our hens are getting on!

A customer's chickens thoroughly enjoying a dust bath, these girls were so happy getting all that soil right up between their feathers to give them a good clean. If you have a patch of dry loose soil or sand your chickens will make good use of it ☺️
