More sad news to report I’m afraid 😢 lovely Toby has also crossed Rainbow Bridge this week. I have been grooming Toby since 2018 and he’s always been a quiet, distinguished gentleman, a no fuss, no nonsense little man. I know his little brother will miss him immensely, as will his family. Sleep tight Toby 💜

CHANGE OF POLICY REGARDING PAYMENT VIA BANK TRANSFER
Unfortunately recently, I have had a few issues with having to ask for payment a few days after collection.
I work very much on a trust basis and very rarely have an issue, I totally understand it’s very easy to forget these things, and reminders are always met with apology and immediate payment.
However, I hate having to ask, so going forward, when paying by bank transfer, I will require payment to be made BEFORE collection please. Cash is also still accepted.

Please note, I am now booking in appointments from the second week of May. Please bear that in mind if you need to reschedule, my diary gets booked up quickly and well in advance.
Summer is a busy time with the school holidays etc, so if you need an appointment, please message me. I’m still not taking any new dogs on, sorry to everyone who has enquired.

Just a quick note about rebooking - please ensure your next appointment is booked and confirmed in plenty of time. As you know, my diary gets full at least 6-7 weeks in advance and I really want to be able to continue to give you all the specific days and times you need.

A lot of you know I have a lot going on at the moment so in the nicest way, please don’t expect me to automatically rebook you (even if I say I will - sorry 🙈) Please always ensure you have your next appointment in the diary.

As 2023 comes to a close, I would like to wish all of my customers and dogs a very wonderful Christmas 🎄
It’s no secret that the back end of this year has been very difficult, and I have had to cancel and move dogs a lot more than I would ever usually do. All of my affected customers without exception have been so kind and so understanding, so for that I thank you.
Thank you for your ongoing custom and trust in me, I will continue to do my best for you and your dogs. I am forever grateful that I have been able to build a successful business but I couldn’t do it without your support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Happy 6th birthday Shampooches 🎈
I must admit this birthday went unnoticed this year, with so much else going on it slipped my mind.
We have to celebrate though as it is one of my biggest achievements, and it is so very largely down to Dad who was totally invested in its making from the start.
Thanks Dad 🍻 for building my salon, offering endless self employed advice and believing in me. 6 years and still thriving, can’t be bad eh?! ❤️

It is with the most overwhelming heartbreak to inform you that my wonderful Dad passed away peacefully this morning.
Dad was always my champion and the one who encouraged me to chase my dreams. He was always behind me and helped me ‘make it happen’, whatever ‘it’ was.
I have had to cancel all work this week as we have been with him at the hospital solidly, thank you to all of my lovely understanding clients who have been affected. I will be in touch with all future bookings and hope I’m able to carry out December as planned.
I’m not sure how life will look without him, but it will never be the same and I will miss him terribly 💔💔

💜PERSONAL NOTICE💜
Some of you may be aware that my lovely dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour a few weeks ago. He has had surgery but unfortunately had a stroke on Sunday and was rushed to hospital. He’s very poorly now and can’t have any further treatment, so is under palliative care.

My dad was pivotal in the building of Shampooches, and so supportive of my business dream. Without him, none of this (and so many other things) would’ve been possible.

I am trying to keep the grooms going as much as I can around normal life and being with dad, but wanted to give notice that there may be times that I will have to postpone your grooms to be with my family. I will try to give as much notice as possible, please bear with me. You are all such a supportive bunch, so I thank you in advance.

Hello everyone! September is about the time I open up the diary to Christmas, as it’s as short as 2 grooms away for some dogs!

If you want to book up until Christmas, please message me as we all know the slots get filled super quick. Please try to stick to your usual schedule if possible. I may be working some days between Christmas and New Year this year, so that will take some pressure off.

I will be doing my usual and hugely popular ‘Bath only’ day for those who want a super freshly washed dog ready to greet their relatives over Christmas. This will be my last working day before Christmas which is Friday 22nd Dec. It’s one hour slots, on the hour, one in-one out type of day, so if you want a slot, please let me know.
