Over the past 10 months we have being enjoying caring for other peoples fur babies. Unfortunately we lost all 4 of our dogs in an 18 month period which completely broke us as a family. This is why we decided to start home boarding as we hated our home being dog free & really helped us get through a very difficult time. For this we will forever be grateful to all of our customers for their support. It is now 14 months since we lost our last 2 dogs & now we believe that it is time for us to rescue a dog & give it a special home giving it the love & care that all animals deserve. Things don't always go to plan as we were just looking for one small whippet. Pip & Ted had ended up in rescue because their owner had sadly died. Today we went to meet them & we have been lucky enough to be be given the opportunity to welcome them both into our family. We are due to collect them on Monday once all the paperwork has been done.

Going forward due to my wife's health issues & the fact that we have rescued two dogs we will no longer be able to provide the same services that we previously offered. We will still be offering our dog walking service & we will be only boarding Whippets, the breed that we have always specialised in, as they will be mixing with our new dogs.

Unfortunately we have recently had some bad news. My my wife has a tumour on her lower spine and is currently waiting to be notified when surgery will be. There is also likely to be a lengthy period of rehabilitation afterwards. Regretfully we need to cancel all upcoming bookings until the end of September and will not be taking further bookings for the time being. This is not a decision we have made lightly as we really enjoy what we do and we feel terrible letting our customers down.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and we hope you understand.

Hopefully we will be up and running again soon.

Toby has had a long day he's been on a lovely walk in grindleford then onto a BBQ party .
He was so good but didn't like Ted the sh*tshu who took a fancy to him. But the chickens n cat didn't bother him at all, he had lots of fuss from people who said how well behaved he was.

Dolly is settled in nicely she's so beautiful and so loving.
Her favorite thing to do is lay on the sofa and getting cuddles she thinks she's a lap dog though and is the size of a donkey.
