August! I can't believe we're in August already 😳! It is only a blink since it was June and we were in Scotland! 🌞

What a fab start to school holidays ! Beautiful summer weather and lots of pool pawtys at HPS HQ. It's been none stop fun and mischief at HPS HQ with our beautiful boarders. Photos below! 🐾✨️

Thank you as always to our amazing clients for our beautiful gifts. We are so blessed and extremely grateful!

Please note we are CLOSED this Friday for enquiries (although we are of course still OPEN for our boarders and will still be sending private pupdates to our pawrents). We re-open for enquiries on Monday.

Happy Monday everyone! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Just thought we would share some good news and post a little update on the baby of the family - Baby Arwen (our beautiful homebred Maxi Cob). She went to her first ever show recently and won her class. It was her first time away from home too. She behaved beyond her 2 years and she loved her first ever pony party. 🐎♥️

First photo of her was taken when she was just 4 days old! And the resf were taken at the show and at home now age 2! So incredibly proud of her.

Oh & a quick pupdate - Auntie Em has just purchased some more enrichment equipment for our beautiful boarding dogs to enjoy 😍♥️. You can see it and the pups enjoying it on our. story. 🐾🐶.

When summer did make the odd brief appearance in Costa-Del-Coppull we certainly made the most of it! We even had pool parties for our water loving pups! Lots of splashing!

Good morning everyone!

Well the petition seems to working, it looks like summer is trying to make an appearance 🙌🏽😅. We reopen at 8am on Monday and are very much looking forward to welcoming our next guests for their pawdays.

The Scottish Highlands was absolutely out of this world! I could honestly move there tomorrow, I'm so in love with the place. Below are just a couple of pics I took (out of 100s 😅). If you haven't been to the Scottish Highlands, you must add it to your list!

Great news from HPS Fangorn French Bulldogs. Danger Mouse had her BOAS health testing again yesterday and passed with flying colours. Graded ZERO for the 2nd time by breed expert vet Dr Hamilton. Danger's litter sister also sailed through her FULL health testing yesterday also gaining a grade ZERO and her Bronze and Silver certificates. .

Mr Livesey and I are celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary this year ❤️ 💒🔔💍 and we thought we would visit the Scottish Highlands in June as part of the celebrations. Waterproof coats and thermals are being PACKED 😅🙈!

And just like that we said goodbye to May and said hello to June! I think we had every season in the month of May, especially the weekend we were away in Windsor! Day one was torrential rain & wind, day 2 chilly frosty night & morning and day 3 we had sun burn! 😅.......... hoping summer arrives soon! 🙏🏼🙈

Finally, we had 2 more birthdays to celebrate in May - the oldest resident of HPS; Lollipop Lola turned 27 and the youngest resident; baby Arwen turned 2 and had a little makeover 😍. She's growing into a beautiful Maxi Show Cob. So proud of her.

It is with a broken heart & the deepest of sadness that we inform our HPS family & friends that one of the OG's crossed over the Rainbow Bridge over the bank holiday weekend 💔. Coochi was known by so many of you and he was the kindest, most loving little boy. We will miss him so very much, he was my little shadow and my snow fox. Coochi has been with me since day one of opening my business amd he and his family became our family. We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated for Coochi's family. We send them all our love.

♥️🐾 Pupdate Time! 🐾♥️...........and PHOTO OVERLOAD!

Sincere apologies for not doing a pupdate sooner. April was a crazy busy month! I will try to them more often over summer, I promise!

I did my K9 & Pet First Aid Refresher Course this week with Veterinary Surgeon: Angela Spar. Very informative and throughly enjoyable course. Thank you Angela and team.

We had not one but two birthday pawtys in April. Buster turned 13 and the Sanderson Sisters turned 3! 🥳🎂💕

Below are photos of all our gorgeous guests that stayed with us this past month, some photos from the 2 birthday pawtys and of course a couple of photos from CRUFTS 2024. The homebred pups had some amazing results again this year including 1st Place PGB & VHC Limit Dog. Oh and not forgetting Danger Mouse picked up some serious swag at Fairfax & Favor 😅🙌🏽🐾♥️.

Honeysuckle Pet Services is now closed until 8am on Wednesday 8th May. I'm off to see the King this weekend 😁👑 .

🥇🐾 IT'S CRUFTSMAS EVE! 🐾🥇

The out of office is on and we are now closed for enquiries until 8am on Monday 11th March.

We've had two incredible years at crufts with results including 3 wins (inc best puppy girl), a 2nd & a VHC. This year I didn't think I would be fit enough to attend but thanks to my amazing family & friends I will be going with my beautiful little Danger Mouse and her siblings. The goal this year is to not trip or fall over in front of hundreds of people on that famous green carpet 🙈😅🩼🦿.

I think Danger and I are most looking forward to the shopping! 🛍🐾🛍

Mr Murdoch, Danger Mouse and her sisters are taking it all in their stride of course 😍, chilling with a brew and doing Frenchie yoga 😅!

If you're going to the NEC tomorrow call in at Hall 4, Ring 16 and say hello! Our bench is in the 800 row. We have plenty of drinks and snacks for everyone!

!!Happy Manic Monday!!

We hope you've all had a pawtastic weekend! This is our LAST CLIENT PUPDATE 😱...........till after Crufts that is 😉😅🙌🏽. As many of you know we always close for a couple of weeks on the run up to the event and we close for the whole of Crufts week. We will still be taking enquiries Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. However we will be closed for enquiries wc 4th March. This will be Danger Mouse & her Sanderson Sister's 3rd visit to crufts........can we make it a hat trick? 3 wins, 3 years in a row!?🙏🏼🤞🏼🙈 We never go with any expectations, just that we have a fun day out with friends and our beautiful dogs. And if Danger and I are completely honest - we go for the shopping, the free swag, the pawsecco and to watch the mega flyball comp! 😂🛍🥎🐾🥂

Now we are still having major issues with our mobile signal, so what's app calls only for the time being - again sincere apologies for the inconvenience. The issue is being chased up daily.

💙🐾 Pupdate Time! 🐾💙

Happy Saturday, everyone! Below are some photos of all the gorgeous guests who joined us for their pawdays since NYD. ❤️ Aflie Moon, Winnie Win Win, Ruby Tuesday, Mr Milo, Ernest & his brother Louis made the January blues disappear at HPS HQ. We also had a flying visit from beautiful Leo and his lovely mum yesterday, too! It was so lovely to catch up with them both.

The nights are already starting to become lighter, and the snowdrops are starting to bloom........before we know it, Spring will have Sprung, and we can not wait! 🌸🌞🌳

📵 ☎️SIGNAL ISSUE - PR7 4BH AREA ☎️📵

For weeks now we have been struggling for a decent signal on the Tesco/02 network. Yesterday and today signal has been none existent . Tesco have confirmed there is a technical problem with a nearby phone mast and that their engineers are working to resolve the issue. 🙏🏼

If any of our clients need to get hold of us , please text, email or WhatsApp. You can also WhatsApp call us through the app - this is working fine.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.

Yesterday we received the heartbreaking news that one of our OGs had crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔.

Chip Chip was one of our first ever clients and we had the honour & privilege of seeing this beautiful boy grow from being a puppy. Chip has been a part of our family for over 10 years. He was the kindest, most loving little fella and we will all miss him so much.

Our love and thoughts are with Chip's mum, dad & family at this very sad time. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

🎄🐾 December Pupdate Time! 🐾🎄

As we fast approach Christmas day, the pups are getting excited for Santa Paws bringing them lots of toys and treats! 🎅😉🐾.

We are now closed until the 28th December when we reopen at 10am for enquiries and get ready for welcoming our NYE guests on the 29th and 30th.

We want to wish all our amazing clients a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year. Thank you all for your continued support and custom. 🎄🐾🎅♥️

I have some good news to share with you all. Yesterday I was given the all clear to start fully weight bearing & as of New Year's Day I will be walking independently without a crutch or stick. It's been tough 3 months and my family and I are extremely grateful to our amazing clients for your endless support. It has meant the world to us all. Thank you. ♥️

Now on to the more important post of all...........our beautiful DECEMBER GUESTS 😍🥰♥️🐾. We welcomed back for their winter pawdays.....Chip, Frank, Meg, Patsy, Buster, Zaky and Milo. These gorgeous pups kept my spirits high and motivated me everyday and I owe them a huge thank you too! They have been the best therapy in the whole world. All the HPS pups have!

Hi .

Our mammoth August pupdate will be going up on Sunday evening, so keep an eye out for all the photos of our gorgeous boarders! ♥️

The post below is going to sound like a grumpy woman having a moan, and it's not, I promise. It's just a bit of housekeeping and some information about the changes to our home boarding service moving forward.

■ Unfortunately, we will no longer be offering a pick-up or drop-off service. Our two vehicles will still have full Pet Taxi and full Business Insurance for emergency vet appointments only.

■ General enquiries (i.e bookings & availability etc) will not be responded to outside of these hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. We will also be closed for enquiries on Bank Holidays and during scheduled personal holidays.

■ Sadly, we will no longer be offering flexible drop-offs and pick-up times. So if you have an early flight, please book in an extra night before & the same if you have a late flight home. Alternatively, a family member or your emergency contact can bring your dog to us on your behalf. We will no longer be taking dogs in at 6 / 7am and will no longer be doing handovers during late evenings (we've done as late as 11pm in the past to accommodate our clients). The NEW FIXED HOURS for drop-off & pick up will be discussed when making your next booking. There will, of course, be some flexibility within these hours but only under exceptional circumstances.

**Please note that we will honour all agreed early & late drop offs/pick ups for the remainder of this year. So please don't worry about that.

We are putting these small changes into place to try to separate home & personal life from the business (work life).

We hope our amazing clients will understand why we are doing this and we want to thank you all for your continued and loyal support.

🐾❤️Yeay! It's FRIYAY! ❤️🐾 ...........................And also my most disliked time of the year. Sorry to sound like a grumpy old woman but I really don't like Bonfire weekend (month!). It causes so much distress to domestic and wild animals (and also to some people).

🐾🐾 Happy Hump Day Everyone! 🐾🐾

Well we hope this pupdate cheers you all up on this very wet and rather miserable Wednesday! Photos of beautiful dogs certainly brightens up my day!

I can't believe we are already in to October! Before we know it, Christmas will be here! On the subject of Christmas and New Year. We close for Christmas on Friday 22nd December at 12noon and re open on Thursday 28th December at 8am. We are full for NYE bookings this year. So sorry to those that have recently enquired about that date.

Our next pupdate will be around Halloween time 🎃 🧛‍♂️🧟‍♂️.

It's been endless cuddles & playtime at HQ. Oh amd Danger Mouse has also been up to her usual tricks 🎃🙈!

🐾♥️ Hello Everyone! ♥️🐾

3 weeks post accident & 1 week post op, and it is business as usual at HPS HQ! Many of you will remember during your pup's Waggie Welcome that I said "Should Auntie Em ever end up out of action, don't worry! We have everything covered". Well after 12 plus years of being in business we have put one of emergency policies into practice and it's run like clock work. We will never let you or your dog down at HPS. We will never cancel on you last minute. The holidays will go on 😉💪🏼.

I want to take this opportunity to say the most sincerest thank you & express how overwhelmed I've been with all the lovely messages, calls, visits, get well wishes, offers of help, gifts, cards and love from all my amazing clients, friends, family and extended doggie family ❤️.

THANK YOU ♥️ 🐾.

Let's get the boring stuff out of the way first:
I've had surgery to rebuild my knee and stabilise my tibia. I've had plates, pins and a bone graft. It's going to be a long recovery before I can ride the horses again but I'm positive and feel so blessed to have all the dogs. The break was a result of a freak accident with one of the horses whilst competing in Warwickshire.

Now the important stuff:
Below are some photos of our beautiful guests that have been for their holidays with us. Animals really are the best therapy. They've all kept my spirits very high! My very own little Danger Mouse has been the best nurse. She hasn't left my side with the exception of my stint in hospital. All our guests have given me endless licks, kisses and cuddles. I don't know what I would do without them.

As autumn & winter approach with great speed, we hope you keep warm and dry!

Ps: We're now open for enquiries again. I'll be in touch with everyone ref 2024 dates at the end of November.

🐾💖August (late July) Pupdate 💖🐾

It's been a mammoth month at HPS HQ with lots of gorgeous guests staying with us over the school summer holidays.

We welcomed back; Barney, Reggie, Darcie, Maddie, Harry, Millie, Nigel, Milo, Max, Lila and Jim Jam. Over the past couple of weeks we've gone from summer to winter to spring to autumn 🍂 (in less than 48 hours sometimes) and in some cases weve had all 4 season in one day! We've had cosy evenings infront of the fire and warm summer pool days! You really can't second guess the great British weather!

Thank you so much for the lovely messages and comments regarding the recent changes to our service. We can't tell you, how much we appreciate your support.

■ PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE NOW CLOSED UNTIL 8AM ON WEDNESDAY 30th AUGUST 2023. ■
We are off on our bus man's holiday next week 🐴😍♥️.

💛❤️ It's Friyay! And it's pupdate time!! ❤️💛

We've had a jam packed couple of weeks here at HPS HQ and some return visitors! Gorgeous Lily and Coochi checked in again for their extra paw days. Always a pleasure to have these two fabulous pups. 🐾💕

We also welcomed Leo, Charlie, Gloria, Nellie, Zak and Patsy for their pawdays and we (and our gorgeous guests) all got to spend some time with beautiful Hamish before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It is with a broken heart & the deepest of sadness that we inform our HPS family & friends that Hamish (out gorgeous Polar Bear) has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 🌈💔. Many of the HPS pups knew this diamond boy as their honorary 'Uncle H'. He was the kindest, most loving person and we will all miss him terribly. Our love and thoughts are with H's mum and dad at this very sad time. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

As the named legal guardian of Hamish in his parent's Will, this news has broken my heart. Thank you Kathryn and Mike for trusting me to care for your very special boy. It has been an honour and privilege to be part of his life.

💛 Pupdate Time 💛

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful late spring weather. Time for a pupdate! 💕

May was a crazy busy month, apologies for not updating the page sooner. Below are photos of our beautiful guests enjoying their stays with us. We welcomed back; Lily Bomb, Murdoch, Molly, Chip, Frank, Meg, Lila, Jim Jam, Gloria, Crunchie, Coochi, Dex, Princess and Milo! 😍😍😍😍.

We also went out showing with our homebred Shire mare, Rohan Athena. At her 2nd ever ridden show she was Reserve Champion - Ridden Heavy Horse 🏆! So unbelievably proud. Oooooh and I even managed to take home the best dressed grooms award! That's a compliment I'm happy to take! 😅

As the temperatures continue to rise, please stay safe in the heat. We have been taking our boarding dogs out as early at 5.30am and as late as 9pm to play to ensure the temperatures are safe for them.

We have an impromptu & unplanned pupdate today from the Fangorn French Bulldogs! 🐾🎊

Danger Mouse & I attended The Birmingham National Show yesterday in Staffordshire, where we took part in our first ever Limit Class, which was huge! The Limit Class is what you call the big girl class, where you can gain your Stud Book number. Normally, after the yearling class, exhibitiors move upto to Graduate, Post Graduate and Mid Limit. However, a number of top breeders advised Danger Mouse to miss those and go straight to Limit! So we bit the bullet, so to speak and went for it. I am so pleased to say that she absolutely smashed it!! She won her Stud Book no and is now CRUFTS QUALIFIED FOR LIFE at just 2 years old! 🏆🎉

What makes this even more special is our Judge yesterday is one of the top French Bulldog judges in the world and travelled from Belgium to judge the show yesterday. Like Crufts, there were exhibitors from all over Europe and the UK in attendance. I'm so proud that Mr Dimitri Van Raamsdonk thought so highly of my little girl.

As I was on my own yesterday, I didn't manage to get any proper photos but a lady very kindly captured some of the class on video and sent me the footage. Danger and I managed the odd dodgy selfie 🤣🙈.
