Rain or shine, you showed up! Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Clacton Airshow. We’re so grateful for your support and are thrilled to share that we raised £332 to go towards StreetVet & Sandys Farm

A huge thank you to Clacton Pier, Nature’s Own, Burgess Pet Care, Hills and our wholesalers for their generous donations. Your support helped us raise a significant amount. We’ll be reaching out to the lucky winners of our Dog/Cat & Rabbit hampers and family golf day at the pier competition soon.

Thank you to our team who helped over the two days and tackled everything that came their way!

Update** Please share and be aware!
They have informed us they will get everyone through into the practice but they are working quickly and moving at all times which means different roads are open at different times. Currently they will let you through via Holland Road but this might change.

We are trying to call all clients to make them aware.

Please give yourself plenty of time to get to the practice as we are on a time appointment system.

Please be aware that there is another set of traffic lights outside the entrance to our Little Clacton surgery.
There is also a set at the end of London Road coming into Little Clacton.
Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive for your appointment.

As a reminder: Our Dovercourt Branch will be closed between 12pm and 2.30pm today for training purposes and our Little Clacton Branch 1pm till 2pm. Our phone lines will still be taking emergency calls for our clients.

🌞 Keep those in and outdoor pets hydrated this summer!

As temperatures rise, it's important to remember our furry friends need extra TLC too☀️

Summer walks are fun, but remember, they can turn dangerous quickly in the heat. Dogs are susceptible to heatstroke, which can be fatal.

Keep your furry friend safe by walking them during cooler times of the day and providing plenty of water breaks 🌞🐾

We know our cats love lazy afternoons in the sun or playful adventures indoors, but make sure your feline friends have plenty of fresh water to beat the heat 💦

Lets not forget the pets who live outside too! Plenty of shade and fresh water all round please!

Remember, thrive with plenty of water and shade🐾💧

Did you know that dogs can donate blood? 🐕‍🦺🩸

Many ill or injured pets need blood transfusions, so it’s important that practices have access to a ready supply of blood on hand.

To become a blood donor (which is a simple procedure), dogs should meet the following criteria:

✅Aged over one but under 8 years old
✅ Weigh over 25 kilos
✅ Be fully vaccinated
✅ Not travelled abroad
✅ Not on medication
