We’re on the hunt!! If you buy yoghurts and would like to reuse the pots instead of putting them in the bin we would love to take them!! Yoghurt pots mean we can make icy fruit pops for the dogs when it’s hot 🏖️

Buddy has been back for another 1 2 1 session 🥰.
This time he got out of his shell extremely quickly and ditched the muzzle within 10 minutes!!!
Because he was so happy within daycare with Auntie Lindsay we thought we would sit out front to push his learning a little bit further. He was such a good boy and he didn’t react except at Barka max and his dad. The reaction was even tiny then. We saw cyclists, cars, pedestrians, trailers, horses and other dogs. His confidence around daycare is phenomenal already even at session 2!! We can’t wait to see how his confidence grows 🥰🥰

Meet Buddy 🥰. On Monday evening we had a lovely session helping him and his mum. Buddy struggles with new people after a serious incident at a vets practice resulting in him getting a serious injury. His injury occurred at a crucial stage in his life where he should have been developing social skills. Unfortunately he had to be resting to recover from his injuries. As he became better lockdown hit and that made his time away from other humans even longer. Due to all of this and other personal events in their lives he was unable to learn and have opportunities to meet new people in a positive way.
We were so happy to see him build that skill with Uncle Kris and Auntie Lindsay on Monday. He came in with very vocal feet reactivity and within his 1 hour session he built confidence to play muzzle free with us. He found Kris was the toy giver and Lindsay was the treat lady 🤣. He really enjoyed himself and got to meet new people in a controlled way and in time we will be able to build this up in a more public setting.

Another busy week last week! We've had treats such as fruit and peanut butter and plenty of toys to keep your pups entertained. Since a lot of the dogs are shedding they've also enjoyed being pampered with plenty of brushing 🐾❤️

We have a 4000 square foot indoor doggy play centre that is safe and secure, to allow you and your dog to safely enjoy excersise and play without a lead or muzzle. We have toys, activities, space, different sized fenced areas etc

We also offer interaction training with our canine care professionals for dogs that are nervous/scared/aggressive/reactive around other animals in our secure 7 foot high large training pen where we can help introduce your dog to others in a total safe and professional environment without the risk to others

Pop down and have a natter and see what we have on offer.
Aunties Lindsay, Danielle and Amelia will be there with lots of goodies that they make aswell as a few treats from Barka Bites!!

Barka pups Kora, Buster and Bobby will be there too for lots of fuss and cuddles 🥰

The results of the survey have arrived!!

So, after looking at the results I will look into booking some first aid sessions. When I know the costs I’ll post tickets for people to buy.

This weekend I will book in some different sessions outside of daycare hours such as puppy parties, club teenager tear away, different breed specific meets and other things like that.

I will look at costs for us to offer daycare to book for your pups birthday parties and then I will post details on that too.

We have so much space and we love being able to share it with you and your dogs. We can’t wait to be able to offer you so much more!!

The extra services outside of daycare are open to anyone. You don’t have to be a daycare customer. Either way we love to see all dogs new and old 🥰🥰

We give you the Dog Cooler 3000. As part of our ongoing developments to Barka Lounge we have added in a new cooling system ready for the hot weather. It will keep all your precious pooches nice and calm, and cover all staff in any excess floating hair.

What a busy one this week! We've had water games, treasure hunts, what's in the box, extra toys out, met some new hip hounds and celebrated a birthday 🎉! A big welcome to Coco and Pink!! Coco was having a wale of a time having her. Taster session. Pink was a bit more nervous but started to join in as the time went on. We can’t wait to see you again 🥰
