💫 Patient of the week - Glen 💫
Glen was referred to us with a dislocated hip 🥺
Andrew done a procedure on Glen called a ‘Hip Toggle’. A hip toggle is a strong suture that is placed to stabilise dislocated hips by holding the ball of the femur(thigh bone) in the socket of the pelvis.
Such a brave, happy boy giving the staff tail wags & smiles! 😀🥰

Ticks are more common in the warmer weather. Ticks prefer to attach close to your pets head, ears, neck and paws but they can be found anywhere on the pets body. 🐶If you do find a tick on your pet then contact your vet to arrange a nurse consult to get the tick removed. 🐱

A kitten update to brighten up your Monday evening! Some of you may remember the two abandoned kittens left into our Cookstown branch last week. They were transferred to our out of hours Dungannon team and our vets Nerea and Paul have been treating them since.❤️
