I'm currently staying with the gorgeous Bella whilst her lovely family are away on their holidays so a quick visit to the salon today for a summer haircut and bath so she is all fresh for their return (and hopefully ready for the warm weather to return 🙏) 🐶❤️

Huge apologies to everyone I've had to cancel today, I've woken up this morning feeling like ive been hit by a bus and although I tried to push through it and still work I realised two dogs in I just can't.

I'll work extra hours this week to get everyone in but if you could just give me a day or two to rejuggle my diary and get back to you all that would be much appreciated 🥰

It's with a heavy heart I have decided that I will no longer be continuing with the dog sitting side of the business from the end of this year.

Any bookings for 2025 which have already been confirmed will of course go ahead but I will not be taking on anymore.

I've loved this part of the job but in all honesty it is no longer financially viable for me to be away from the salon for such long periods of time and I've also realised being away from home so much has such a big impact on me, as much as I am an independent person being on my own for such long periods of time really takes its toll.

I can only apologise for any inconvenience caused, I know a lot of you will be upset by my decision, I will truly miss the dogs and thank you all for the amazing support ❤️

I am working one extra day on Thursday 25th April to catch up after my holiday, if you need an appointment get in touch ASAP.

As from the 1st May I am going down to 4 days a week so my next availability is July 2nd.

I cannot express enough how important it is to pre book your appointments, especially if you have a wool coated breed.

Labrador deshed 🐶🐾

Short haired breeds benefit from regular grooming as it removes the build up of dead hair from the coat, keeps the coat and skin clean and healthy and an opportunity to keep nails short.

*please excuse the fact I haven't brushed my own hair though - the dogs always look better than the groomer 🤦‍♂️😅*

Polite notice 🐾

Over the last few months I have noticed a huge increase in the number of dogs arriving at the salon with fleas.

As I often don't notice an infestation until the dog is already bathed and beginning to be dried this means I then have to cancel the remainder of the day to deep clean and 'flea bomb' to ensure no fleas are passed onto others - this obviously means I can lose up to a days wage and have to try and find space to rearrange dogs in an already full diary.

I please ask that you all check your dogs a day or two before your appointment, if you notice any fleas please DO NOT bring your dog to the salon, instead we will rearrange until treatment has been given and had time to work.

Announcement 🐾

From the 1st May 2024 I will be reducing my hours and only working in the salon Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and the very occasional Saturday for my regular customers who have already booked for the year.

My books for grooming are now closed and I will not be looking to take on any more customers for the foreseeable. Any enquiries will be passed onto other groomers in the area 🐾

Due to reducing my hours I will only be able to keep my regular (>8 weeks) customers on and this unfortunately may mean I am unable to book in dogs which are not on a regular schedule.
Regular customers please ensure you are booked for the year (message me asap 🙏).

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused but I just cannot continue working the hours that I have been and going forward need to find much more of a work/life balance.

Well my fence which was hanging on by a thread at the best of times has well and truly been taken out by Isha 🌬

I have no boundary between the garden and the main road so it's very important that ALL DOGS ARE ON LEAD TO AND FROM THE SALON 🐶

If anyone needs to rearrange due to road conditions please let me know as early as possible 🙏

Due to being so busy in the salon I'm really struggling to get back to messages. I am away dog sitting for a couple days next week and will aim to get back to everyone then. Messages will be answered in the order they came in so please don't keep messaging as it will just take me longer to respond.

I will also aim to post all Christmas pamper photos next week 🎅

Please note I have absolutely no availability for grooming until mid February, so unfortunately if your message is regarding a Christmas groom I am unable to take on anymore, this also means if you cancel your groom in the next 4 weeks I will not be able to get you in again before Christmas.
