Little background on me...I did my masters dissertation on the relationship between diet and parasite infection in North Ronaldsay sheep and Shetland sheep. North Ronaldsay sheep are kept on the beeches on an island in Orkney and feed exclusively on seaweed. There is a working theory among scientists that seaweed diets in ruminants decrease their production of methane which in turn relieves pressure on the buildup of greenhouse gases. I was lucky to spend the few years I had in Orkney working and living with some really interesting people
