Over the last few weeks we have been busy working away in these horrible weather conditions, working with the young horses.
They are coming on all at their own pace and learning every day.

And now for the Fells ♥️ a play tonight to get to know each other better. From the hill to start their education these guys got moves ♥️ proper little performance types! They both are very different and I am excited to see what they make of working life 🙌

However, Here she is ♥️!! Little Francesca who is not a horse child has desired to drag her mum and become a horsey child 😂! Isn’t she fantastic!
We will still be looking for a show rider and another little jockey to be available. Francesca is still Learning so anyone who is at shows over the winter we would love if you had a time for a class ❤️

Last night was our first trip
Away from Home under saddle , it’s been a long time waiting but worth it ! He mostly behaved himself 😂! But we still need a show 😂🤦♀️💪🙌
Sannsi arrived two weeks ago at Neigh Bother she is with us to start her education and be backed. Proving to be a good girl. First time for this today and took it with ease .
A lot of people always ask me why I do this part on a hard surface in a barn. Everyone has their own system, I like to make sure they feel safe and secure the fist time I sit on them, yes it is only for a few minutes, but I want it to be a chilled experience. Yes it is on concrete, but they have a channel up the shed a destination, they have their friends and it is a familiar environment for them. Does it work every time, NO, 😂 does it work most of the time , YES,🙌
This little mare, is lovely to work with and is a people Person which helps a lot. Putting in the ground work and helping your pony to trust life is a massive step and makes our jobs a lot nicer and much more achievable. Every pony is different and you adapt your system accordingly but the bare bones and principles stay the same. I love youngsters as every day is a school day, and for me that’s the best part! 🥕
