The 1st mare we are introducing is our Sport Horse of GB Head Stud Book Mare DEFINING ASIA.

Asia is by the stallion Broadstone Dickens who is by the late Demonstrator out of Indiana Rising (BWB) . Asia joined our broodmare herd 3 years ago and had her first foal for us by Tiger Attack last year, who is proving to have an amazing temperament as well as a superb mover.

This mare is multi talented and has been an all round Sport Horse, as well as a great show animal. She has competed in all Sport disciplines as well as shown as an ISRT and Small RH under saddle, as well as In Hand. Since owning her, she has gone on to win many accolades for us just to name a few:

🏆 Sport Horse Royal Norfolk Show.

🏆 Reserve champion RH NPS Summer Champs.

🏆 Reserve Supreme RH Ottergayle Champs

🏆 1st Sport Horse Broodmare Bucks County show.

We also had her graded with SHBGB this year where she finished 2nd in the country on a score of 9.5 out of 10. Scoring multiple of 9's for her paces, movement and overall conformation impressing the judges with her overall balance and self carriage.

This year she is due to foal to Future Sport Horses , Sport Horse Breeding (GB) licenced stallion FUTURE GRAVITAS. Future Gravitas pedigree is simply outstanding he is by the same sire as Badminton CCI5* winner and European Double GOLD medallist Lordships Graffalo
* Out of the same dam as 3-time Kentucky CCI5* winner and Olympic medallist Winsome Adante
* Gravitas’s dam is Elite mare Juswith Genoa – an EXCEPTIONAL producer – making Future Gravitas a maternal brother not only to the legendary Winsome Adante, but also to CCI3* Eventer.

His own performance includes being:
* An International Eventer
* A 4-time National Dressage Championships Finalist
* A Winner at all eventing levels from 5yr old qualifiers, through BE100 to Novice and Open Novice
* Futurity National Champion Sire of Eventers

He is still a relatively young stallion, yet has already sired:

* Dressage National CHAMPIONS

Thrilled to receive this letter from Sport Horse Breeding (GB) to tell us our fabulous brood mare Defining Asia finished 2nd in the 2023 brood mare grading scheme. There were 10 grading events through the UK with 37 mares graded this term. We are over the moon with this mare she has had an incredible season and to win this just tops the season off. Her foal by Tiger Attack finished 5th out of 30 in the foal grading scheme scoring an average of 9's following an awkward growth spurt 🙈

We also had another 3 mares graded two of these also featured in the top 8 finishing on scores of over 9 out of the possible 10. One of which was Homebred Wakefield Farm Sunset who will be joining the Broodmare team next season taking a nomination to Future Illusion. 24year old fundamental Broodmare Sushine also featured in the top 8 on a score of over 9 which is incredible at her age. She is currently in foal to Gemini Stud 's Classic Opera. This being her last foal. This is a fantastic achievement for a small stud that is only in its 2nd year of breeding sports horses.

Bit of a late post but HOYS 2023 didn't dissapoint even if we didn't have anything of our own there.
Thursday saw Patner in crime III (Bred By Us), jump a lovley round unfortunately 8fults over a challanging track in the 1m45 foxhunter final. We are very proud of his successes and to qualify. The best is yet to come 🤞

Friday we went as spectators to support all our fellow competitors in the Price Family In Hand Championship. Well deserved win for Simon Charlesworth and his team.

Sunday saw the turn of the British Minitures in hand final. This is a new direction for us as we have secured the purchase on one of the minitures competing. She is a beautiful little Filly (Scott's Little Girl) bred by the Scott's Stud. She is a new project for Jo to involve her more heavily in the showing team. No professional photos so one of her at her latest outing with us.

💫 Wakefield Farm Waterlily 💫

On Saturday we welcomed our 1st arrival Waterlilly out of Bankswood Amarylis (Chiddock Poppy X Small Land Maytino) By Whistlejacket’s Kings Tribute a beautiful Filly Foal.

She should mature to arround 153cm. She is all ready showing alot of promise not only in looks but in movement.

We look forward to seeing her grow.

🐴She will be available at weaning. 🐴
