****UPDATE*** she’s back home where she belongs! 😁🙏🏻🐾
Found this beautiful girl roaming around near manor Croft school in Earlsheaton around 5.30 today! Been to the vets and she’s microchipped but not registered anywhere. She doesn’t have an ID tag on. The black marks around her neck are to scrub the colour of her collar for obvious reasons. She’s definitely well looked after, recently groomed and healthy, someone will be really missing this lovely girl! Let’s get her home 🙏🏻🐾

That moment you know you have to go to the vets…. Found quite a lump on my little Bella…… Put it off cause I was so scared of what it could be! They took a biopsy today, rang me earlier to say it’s just a fatty lump and to keep an eye on it!
Happy and relieved is such an understatement! ☺️🐾❤️

A few days ago I posted about how good coconut oil was for your dogs teeth. It’s also good for their skin and coat when they lick in from their teeth!
This post isn’t animal related, but thought I’d post on here to reach a wider audience (already posted on my personal page )!
Firstly, if you get a cut/scratch/graze….. rub some virgin coconut oil on after it stops bleeding and a few times after, it’ll heal faster than anything you’ve ever seen!! It’s miraculous!!
Next, ditch the expensive face/body creams! Rub virgin coconut oil in your skin, it works wonders! 👍😁

Been trying to get a good photo of this little girl, but when she’s out and about I’ve not a chance on earth, too much energy to stop and be still for 30 seconds! 🤦🏻♀️ So I grabbed one at home after our walk yesterday! 😁👍
This beautiful girl is Bella and she’s our newest member of Doggy Trails! Too blooming adorable she is! 😊🥰🐾💜
This is so 🤣🤣🤣🤣
These two had life in the frost this morning!! Shame poor Teddy got ice balls stuck to his little paws though, wasn’t a happy chappie when I had to melt them off in the van 🤦🏻♀️🐾
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Of course little otto, who is just so full of love for everyone and everything, absolutely loved her and couldn't stop giving her kisses 😘 😂🐾💜
Otto and Benny had the time of their life. Both as fast as each other 😆🐶🐕🦺🐕🐾💜
Mad Mondays with mabel and Milo...oh and chewie in the back doing her thing 😂🐾💜
Otto and Gilbert had such a good time together the other day. Otto has so much love it's too cute but I think Gilbert was getting a bit fed up of all the kisses 💋😂🥰🐾💜
Just 2 little lovebirds playing kiss chase 🥰🐾💜 #dogs #dogstagram #dogsofinstagram #doggytrails #love #flirtingwithnature
How Doggy Trails came about...… I was working as an IT Service Manager, managing a team of 16 people - a very stressful job to say the least! So after much consideration of what my next career could be, I decided I would do what I loved the most - work with animals! So after spending time putting things into place, I left my job to start concentrating on my new business, I ploughed my heart and soul into making it the best it could possibly be for you and your best friend.
That was two and half years ago, since then we have expanded to 5 people covering different areas from Mirfield, Dewsbury, Thornhill, Birstall, Batley, Alverthorpe, Kirkhamgate and many more. I have spent my spare time studying for the relevant qualifications to provide the best possible care and become the best carer/trainer I can be. It’s not all about taking dogs out for a walk (although this is the fun part!), or having dogs come and spend their holiday with us (so is this!), it’s also about taking the time to understand everything there is to know about them, how they learn, how they ‘speak’ to us and each other, about the different breeds and their traits, how, and why, they can develop anxiety problems and how to avoid this from an early age and resolve it in later life.
So, yes we are experienced, professional dog walkers who also provide home from home boarding, dog/puppy training and pet sitting for a wide variety of animals. Why choose us? We have over 35 years of experience with a wide variety of animals, from dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, hamsters, chickens, reptiles and horses (and the list goes on!) We are fully insured, DBS clear and 4* licenced with Kirklees Council (the highest standard I could achieve until next year!). We hold diplomas in Canine Communication Level 3, Canine Behaviour and Training Level 3, Dog Training Level 4 and Puppy Training level 3 and I’m currently studying Canine Health and Nutrition level 3.
We have well equipped vans for transporting our furry friends, they are all kept separately and safely in crates so they all have their own space (which doggies love)! We always carry fresh water and clean towels to clean them off, oh and a Mud Daddy to wash them off if they are OK with it (some aren’t very keen!). The treats we use are made by us, everything in them is fit for human consumption, no added nasties and very safe and healthy for the doggies. We never walk more than 5 dogs at any one time, unless two of us take them out and then its no more than 7 between us, it gives us time to enjoy them, play with them and have some bonding time. We only walk them in fields and woods, no street walking unless specifically requested, we can then make arrangements for one of us to street walk.
As you can see, we really do dedicate our lives to the well being of all animals in our care and go above and beyond to ensure they are well cared for. We are very flexible to meet the needs of our customers who wouldn't hesitate to recommend our services, you just have to read our reviews and recommendations on Facebook and Bark, we can tell you how great we are, but what are customers say is true testament to the service we provide. Give us a call, send an email or message us to see how we can help with your requirements.
We always arrange a meet and greet beforehand so you can get to know us and if we are right for you, we can get to know you and your best friend, and to understand your requirements so we can provide the best service possible to you and your pet.
