Wintermoons dog walking and pet sitting closes it's doors permenantly on Saturday the 28th of September.
I have one last walk to do with ice the very pretty siberian husky.
I've had an amazing 8.5 years as a dog walker. Walking many dogs over the years.
Through some challenging times with the weather, the pandemic in 2020. Dogs with behavioural issues ( many I managed to resolve a few I didn't)
Your dogs have all been amazing. And I shall miss them all dearly.
Please don't forget you know where I live, you have my phone number too.
I'm always around somewhere.
Some dogs I have already given their final somewhat teary eyed walk last week.
I just have one girl left this week.
They're meeting a new dog walker this week and next week.
A very good one too.
Dennis and Jessie my two favourite little pugs be good little pups for the new lady.
Ice I will still see from time to time but I will miss the pleasant somewhat steady walks around the village and squirrel spotting in hq too.
And skye what an adventurous year its been, some amazing walks, and many memories. And some fun weather too.

Any walks scheduled for this afternoon are cancelled. If your dog is home alone it will be a garden let out if you have a shady garden play will also be encouraged. Please keep your dogs hydrated. For those of you I don't see today. I'll see you tomorrow as it's cooler.

Pesky husky togos wheelrunner 24th October 2010/5th of August 2024.
The best of the pack gained his wings this afternoon.
From the tiny little puppy that peed in Rob Tullock lap on the night we picked him up, and the proceeded to christen the Christmas tree after I dropped him in Neil Didsbury lap when he was watching football, to the best lead dog I ever had. Thanks for teaching me to run dogs storm, and for being the most loyal dog I have ever owned. My motivation for running dogs as much as I do was down to him.
He didn't take a piece of my heart when he slipped away peacefully wrapped in mine and neils arms. He took all of it. I Will miss you so so much stormy boy 💔

I currently have space for one more happy pup in need of a walk over lunch time 5 days a week. Between 11am and 1pm hour to suit. Preferably good with other dogs. But can accommodate a solo walk.
£13.50 per hour. I'm fully insured and DBS checked.
Driffield area only.

Star dog of the month alert.
The beautiful skye.
Shes a fun, beautiful bouncy lovable girl, curious about pretty much everything in the world.
We've been practicing for two days with this one, this is day 3. She walked past the horse without even looking today. Both ways.
Not even a blink.
Skye has always been vocal and excited if she sees other dogs. She sat by a bridge on the way home and waited patiently for a very well behaved offlead labrador to trot past. When he had gone she looked at me and waited for her walk on cue.
Well done girl what an absolute star. A credit to her owner.

Wintermoons walking services has finally broken up for the Christmas break.
I would like to wish all of my customers a fantastic Christmas. Thankyou for trusting me with the 4 pawed members of your family.
And thankyou for your understanding when I had illness and emergencies with my own dogs.
This year has been a strange one after losing our crazy lab x collie suddenly in April, although maddy was 14 she didn't act it, Christmas will be somewhat strange this year. No crazy dog whizzing round opening her box of tennis balls.
We're still adjusting to life without a dog that barks at the door when anyone knocked on it. The other dogs don't bother.
Anyways happy Christmas to you all.
