Try to find quiet locations for a good off lead runaround. But keep up the interaction to ensure the dogs are still listening. Here Buddy and Pepper on their first run out together in the woods.

What device is best to help walk a dog?
Always asked which device is best for walking your dog. Well...... the problem answering that question is that all devices have pros and cons. Used incorrectly all devices including the flat collar, harness or halti type head collars can have a damaging effect on the body, limit training and cause long term health issues.

Unfortunately, the best device that we can all use is patience and time to train our dogs well, ensure we socialise the dog as a puppy and prevent nasty interactions with other aggressive and fearful dogs.

Let me know what device you’re using and why. Let’s get the debate going for better dog welfare.
