The cabin has now been moved to the new address!!

It’s been a busy week getting things back together and I’ve had a load of help from the best people to get the cabin back to working order, so if it wasn’t for them I would still be closed for business.
I know few have been in-touch recently about bringing appts forward but please bear with me as I get back on track . I do have a cancellation list if you’re not already on it let me know 😉.
The postcode will bring you straight to the new address , we are the house on the right, so please turn into the garden drive (pictured below) and I’ll come out to you . Looking forward to seeing you all at the new place , any problems please get in touch. 😁

Today we lost one of our own , my old boy Sam has sadly passed away this morning after a short illness through the night . We are absolutely devastated as he’s been with us the last 16yrs and he been there through the best/ worst times of our lives. I’m at a loss and finding it hard to swallow this heart ache . So please bear with me as there’s a lot of big changes happening just now with moving the cabin . I will resume back to work tomorrow as normal and gradually get through this difficult time x thanks everyone for understanding x

(Important UPDATE)
The Barkin Barber is MOVING PREMISES!
I will be sending out an email with my NEW address shortly, I am still within Dumfries so please do not panic 😅. For NOW every appt will carry on as normal at the original address till the end of this month.
So If you have an appt this coming June and following, then please note I will most likely no longer be located at the original address.
Happy for anyone to get intouch to discuss directions to the NEW PREMISES. Thanks everyone ☺️🫶👋

Hello everyone 👋 just a quick update I will be emailing out couple of contracts I’ve the next week for you guys to sign regarding new terms of cancellation/ payment/matting policies. Most will already have the cancellation contract signed and that’s super thankyou 👍 . As I’m only a small business I can’t afford for those who have been making payments a week later after there appt as I too have outgoings. Hence why I’ve had to put this in place. Hope you all understand and thankyou for all those keeping my business alive 😍☺️

Hello everyone ,hope you have all been having a wonderful Easter 🐣 . Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to all my clients recently for bearing with me whilst my new boiler is being replaced. I should be back up and running by the end of thurs this week, so I can get all your pooches back in and looking there best ready for some sunny 😎 weather 🤞🤞

Hey everyone !! So after the sell out of Xmas raffle and Xmas bows 2023 we raised just short of £250 for Dumfries and Galloway canine rescue centre !!! 🎉myself and my little helper Robyn went for a visit and meet some of their new additions a while back 😍 Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone who had taken part and purchased any of the raffle tickets or Xmas bows …I’m sure every penny will be much appreciated for all these lovely doggies looking for their forever homes 😍 Thankyou

Hello everyone , so some of you will have received invites into your customer portal , where basically you can access your pets profile , book appts, check future appts, invoices , upload pics …ect ect, just a couple of you are struggling to sign in so it think it’s because your app my need to be updated so please double check your version here below…you will be able to create your own passwords, but if your still struggling send me a txt guys thanks x

Just to let everyone know , I’m
back on track and well on the way to
making a full recovery ❤️‍🩹 Thank-you for all your support and patience these past two weeks.
I understand those needing appts rearranged, which I will organise for you where I can, if I haven’t done so already.
I’ve also managed to grab an extra pair of skilled hands to help me out couple of days a week in order to get me back on track for the run up to Xmas 🎄
All future appts are confirmed for the go ahead ☺️👍😎Thanks everyone !!! 🤩

(UPDATE)
I’m now out of hospital and recovering at home 🏠 Thankyou for all your get well msgs they mean a lot👍
I’m slowly getting better everyday now and hopefully get through this soon. I will be looking at reorganising my diary as soon as I feel 100% again, I just can’t say when that is yet as I’ll have to get back into work gradually .
I understand there will be some dogs desperately needing groomed , so I understand if you feel the need to find another groomer in the meantime . If you feel your dog could put off there last/ future appt as a one off, then let me know.
I will try my best to sort everyone out where I can but you may have to bare with me as I can’t overload myself again too quickly.
Thank you for being patient everyone , I really do value your support😊

UPDATE
Having to stay in hospital over the weekend doesn’t look like I’m getting home till next week as they still can’t confirm what’s going on. I’m stilll very weak so might be a longer recovery process than I thought. X thanks for all your lovely get well msgs it’s much appreciated ☺️

Hey everyone I apologise now for bringing the sad news but easier to tell everyone with a post… last night I was admitted into A&E with what I thought was infection in the kidneys and a high heart rate, awaiting more test results yet to find out what is going on. I’m on the road to recovery now and things are steady but I have to stay in the hospital tonight to be monitored. I will most likely have to cancel all my appts till next week once I’m feeling better again. 🤞I’ll be in touch with those booked in these next few days to cancel but most likely have to miss this appt and rearrange for another day where possible if I can find space. Thankyou for understanding guys 🫶🙂

👋Hey everyone, I know many have been asking what products I use on your beloved pooches and how I get them smelling amazing !!!.🍓 Well I’m happy to announce they’re NOW AVAILABLE to purchase in the Barkin Barber Cabin, so you can have that luxury ‘just been groomed’ smell lasting for longer!!
I have a variety of different products including shampoos, conditioners and Paw-fumes just now and I will get new scents in again when the seasons change .

(ROAD CLOSED ) Hey everyone 👋 just to give you guys the heads up if your booked in this week you may have to give extra time and go the long way round, as the council have decided to close our road at the bottom today. Due to all the heavy rain we’ve had recently it’s caused a lot of flooding and further damage below us. So hopefully this will be repaired soon and reopen the road again. If anyone needs directions just phone me and I’ll help the best I can. Sorry for any inconvenience guys I know it’s a pain 😔 thanks

So tonight we had to say goodbye to our old boy sheppy doodles , no more suffering now and you can be at peace . Your memory will carry on through all our family and you will never be forgotten, the boys will miss you watching over them, even when you got to much in their way. So glad you came into our lives with those beautiful blue eyes, we will forever miss you old boy and it will be very different without you here ###x
