" MY DOGS SCARED OF THEIR GROOMER, THEIR TRAUMATIZED AFTER THEIR VISIT!!" How many of you think that your dog is scared of visiting their groomer & that the whole experience is traumatic for them due to their reaction at drop off & collection?? Check little Rio here, this little dude acts like I'm all the cartoon villains rolled into one & tries to refuse coming into the salon 🙈 thankfully his mum knows that's not true 😂 and entrusts me to groom him on a regular schedule!! Yes I have a belly strap & neck straps on my dogs whilst grooming but this is for their safety & my peace of mind. As you can see rio can still comfortably sit & if he is uncomfortable with anything I am doing he will move away from me, giving me an indication to move on to somewhere else to give him a break..( Rio's biggest dislike in the salon are the dryers so we swap between speeds, nozzles & types for power & noise) Not every dog will like the grooming process & I will admit there's dogs that I am not the right groomer for & dogs I have sent away unfinished BUT all groomers TRY THEIR BEST and I can assure you we are our biggest critics & scold ourselves for failing when we have to turn a dog away! We are so lucky that our large breed dogs we groom are very well mannered & used to their routine!! Meet Flynn he's a BFG ( BIG, FRIENDLY GOOFBALL) that loves his visits & is an absolute gentleman to groom. He might be one of the biggest doodles that visits, but he's so happy & grateful for the tiniest of reward!! We have restocked some of their favourite treats & have some new natural treats from them to try!!!
