The groom room will reopen on 6th Jan. - me and the pups are taking some time out to relax with family and friends over the festive period. 🎄💜

Police in Dunfermline are appealing for witnesses following a report of a man attempting to steal two dogs.

The owner of the dogs was walking between Fillan Street and Serf Avenue, Dunfermline around 8.30am this morning, Monday, 22 March, when she was approached by a man who then attempted to remove the leads from her dogs, in what can only be viewed as an attempted theft. The man responsible made off empty handed and was seen to enter a white coloured Ford Transit van parked nearby. The vehicle is further described as being visibly rusty suggesting it may be an older vehicle.

The suspect is described as being white, in his late 20's around 6ft tall and of slim build, had dark coloured hair and was wearing a black hooded top and a black mask.

Any member of the public with information is requested to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 0849 of Monday, 22 March, 2021. Alternatively CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where information can be given in confidence.

Dog owners in the area should remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, unwanted approaches or similar incidents to Police without undue delay.

Great News Folks & Furbies! I am preparing to reopen later this week 😊🐾🐾 No more DIY hairdos required! 😁😅

I am currently working my way through diary to ensure all appointments which were missed because of the lock down are allocated slots first to help ensure welfare grooms are given priority in line with phase 1 reopening guidelines.

I am going to be extremely busy over the next few weeks and ask that you contact me by either direct message or txt - the online booking system on my page cannot keep up!

Social distancing measures will be in place. I have the benefit of working on a one to one basis and arrange appointments around having only one furby family in the groom room at a time - in order to help me keep this working smoothly, I ask that you be mindful of sticking to drop off and collection times 😊 This will allow me to keep things moving in a relaxed, stress free manner and thoroughly clean the salon between appointments.

Following yesterdays announcement it is looking unlikely that I will be able to re-open at the moment.

I will be reviewing this weekly in line with any Scot Gov updates - as soon as we are advised that it is safe to relax lock down slightly I will be raring to go!

I know this is a really difficult time for everyone. I am missing all my gorgeous furbies soooo much and can't wait to see you all again soon! For now though.. Please stay safe! 💜❤️🐾🐾
P. S. I'd love to see any photos of your furbies and hear how you and they are coping during lock down.
I'm always here if any of you are struggling with any aspect of your dogs coat care or even if just fancy a chat or a sound off! We are all in this together and together we will get through this ❤️💜

Hi Folks & furbies 💜❤️ I hope you're all staying safe and well.
At the moment, it's with a heavy heart that I'm planning to take a small 'paws' in bookings - this is simply to follow best advice from the Scottish government and hopefully, help reduce risk to all our loved ones by reducing social contact and staying at home as much as possible.
I will be reviewing this in a couple of weeks time and will post updates as soon as my diary's open again.
Meanwhile - thanks for your much valued custom and support. I will be back and I will be offering grooming services as soon as possible. Small businesses, like mine will need as much support as possible when this all passes.

Enjoy the sunshine! But please do remember your fur babies feet on the hot ground!! Place the back of your hand against the walking surface, if you can't hold it there comfortably for 7 seconds.. Its way too hot for pooch feet! Don't risk it - no dog ever became unwell from missing a walk.. Burnt pads are awful and heatstroke is potentially fatal - Stay safe, stay cool folks and furbies ❤️🐾🐾
