๐คฃ Our newest arrival made a detour for some milk this morning!! ๐ผ
๐ฎ We found this wee one waiting patiently by the barrels (a wee highland calf)
๐คฉ They were swiftly reunited with Mummy Annie, after we scratched our heads at how the wee one managed to get there in the first place, got their milk and is healthy and both are doing well.

They are wild, and hiding mostly in the lily pads, and will appreciate you being quiet and not bothering them ๐๐ค
๐ฅ Hereโs one of our female Rhea laying an egg! arenโt they huge!
๐ค Did you know - this is the only part the female Rhea takes in the reproduction of chicks - it is a vital part!
๐ However the male then incubates the eggs, hatches the chicks then looks after them!
Our male is very protective of his eggs and can be regularly seen chasing the llamas away from his nest, which is quite funny to watch ๐คฃ
๐ฆ This guy and his pals had a great time over the weekend and were super happy to see you all!!
