➡️ A new year, a new work/life objective!

➡️ After careful consideration I have decided to change my business hours. I will no longer be working on Saturdays effective from 1st APRIL 2024.

➡️ I know this will come as a disappointment to my regular Saturday clients.

➡️ However, to accommodate you, I will now be working until 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

➡️ I will also be implementing a small price increase of £3 per dog, effective 1st APRIL 2024

➡️ I would like to extend my gratitude for everyone’s understanding and continued support.

I had the best day yesterday. Our first trip in the new car was to Stobo castle for a spa day. I had the fanciest glass of green tea, a posh lunch, lots of boiling and steaming my sore muscles, a gorgeous massage from a lovely lady who is a dog lover like myself, a forest walk and a stroll around the Japanese garden. It was just bliss! Can’t wait to go back someday. 🧖‍♀️

How many dogs can you groom at the same time. I can do 5!! Before during and after. Penny, Molly, Teddy, Leo and Benji. I had soooo much fun. I fricken love my job!! 😊😊😊😊

What a difference 2 weeks makes. Both dogs back to full health. We are all so relieved and happier than ever. Thanks to everyone for the kind messages. Now, time to get into the Christmas spirit 🎄🥃🥳

I’m utterly, inexplicably baffled by what I’m writing and still in complete disbelief.

Yesterday my Duke became very unwell and as it transpired it turned out he also had scavenged a corn on the cob from in and around our residential area.

After 2 vet visits and spending the night in hospital. Fortunately he managed to puke it up and it was a matter of relieving all his backed up p**p, so no surgery was required, thank goodness!!

He is now home recovering with Dougall. We are having a lazy day with a blow up bed, quilts, pillows and lots of cuddles.

I’d like to reiterate how dangerous these little things are 🌽 to dogs. Please please please make sure they are properly disposed of.

The vet says it is a common occurrence in the summer months when people are having BBQs.

So I’m hoping to spread some awareness to avoid this happening to another dog.

It’s been a traumatic week for us all but hope we are off that treadmill and can get back to normal soon.

Finally. If you pay your pet insurance by direct debit and are not in the habit of checking your statements. Please double check your insurance policy is actually an “automatic renewal policy”
we thought ours was as had no previous issues. Unfortunately Dougall’s policy wasn’t and our insurance policy was cancelled by the company in June and we had no idea. We are now £2500 down.

Thankfully Duke’s policy was just renewed last week.

We are just so relieved they are ok. 😮‍💨

My poor Dougall has had an emergency surgery to remove a blockage in his intestine. He unfortunately managed to find a corn on the cob. PLEASE put these things in the bin!! He has been extremely unwell and in a lot of pain. What a hellish few days we’ve all had 👎😩

Very happy and relieved to say after and day spent at the vet Dougall has made some progress and is looking and feeling a lot more himself ☺️

Incase anyone heard a dog screaming bloody murder! Don’t panic it’s was just Archie singing me a song getting his blow dry. He’s a very happy boy and a Very typical husky 😂
