I've already gushed and had a little cry writing an Instagram post, so I'm going to keep it brief here, before I start blubbing again 🥺

Almost exactly 7 years to the day since I started walking him, Murphy had his last walk with me today as he moves out of the area.

He is an absolute joy, the cuddliest, most mischievous boy I've ever known. He very quickly became my little shadow, he was out double walks most days, riding shotgun so he could have unlimited chin scratches. He made friends with everyone, so if your dog's been out in the last 7 years, they are buddies with Murphy.

I want to thank his Mum and Dad for being so lovely, and for agreeing to let me come visit when they move, walking him has been really really special and I'm going to miss him so very much.

6 years this week since I've been walking Baillie 🥰

One of the greatest privileges of my job is seeing the dogs entering their golden years loved and cared for so well.

The first picture is her first walk with me, she is a little greyer round the muzzle 😅 but she's as happy as ever ❤️

Aaaaaand she is back in business!

Can't stress enough how horrendous the last 3 months (!) have been without the van. There have been full 5/6 hour days on foot, getting crates in and out of hire vans, our car and once or twice my mums matchbox on wheels 🤣 all the dogs have been so adaptable and just totally gone with the flow, they've been amazing.

Thank you to everyone who has been accomodating changing times or days, and thank you for giving me consoling pats on the shoulder and letting me have a rant when required.

I've never looked so forward to work as I am tomorrow, back to normal at last 😁

I've not had the van this week, as many of you know. There has been fully on foot walks, hire van walks, hire car walks and our family car walks. It's been a bit of a funny old week.

Kudos to all the dogs for being so adaptable, they've been absolutely amazing. Some pictures from this week, but not all walks as I did have my hands full 🤣

Whenever I pick up Star she looks petrified, like I'm dragging her off to her doom... As soon as I open the van door she jumps in happily and she has the best time on the walk 🤷‍♀️

These 2 nitwits started trying to chase each other while still on leads... in the car park. Luckily when I fell only my pride was hurt, and one knee 🤣🤦‍♀️
