We generally just run our crew about home, but decided to book the park for an hour this morning... Absolutely fabulous... Will definitely be back again, no doubt about it.
When your 15weeks old and your pawrent is a groomer and she made promises to her client's that when she wasn't attending an award dinner but instead she was going spend the money on workshops etc to improve her skills ✂️.. She didnt lie.. I'm the start of the process 🐩.. (If I'm honest, I think this was just the excuse she used to convince Brian, to allow me to join the family... Some would call it crazy, she just calls it passion ❤️) . And now I'm in the process of learning some grooming table manners.. Apparently I have to stay on this table and watch her groom this big monster, when all I want to do is play with him 🥎... Instead I'm behaving really well as I really am good boy... There might be a treat in it for me 😉🐩

I will unfortunately have to be strict on this in August, as I wasn't in July 🙈 and as a result, the kids have unfortunately suffered and they haven't had too many summer hoilday memories made yet 😎, not helped by the fact that I ditched a full week off to groom 🙈🙈 (yes I am weak 😂)

Just a gentle reminder, it's is now recommended that you book your next appointment before leaving the salon, if you have multiple dogs or only able to do a certain time or day, I would recommend you block book a few appointments in advance.
As the business is growing and with being a solo groomer salon, the slots are filling up faster now, hence the reason why appointments need to be booked in advance, especially if you don't want to be disappointed, and having to wait longer than your normal grooming schedule.
I have recently been squeezing appointments in, and giving up days off, just so I don't disappoint people, but unfortunately you can only burn the candle at both ends for so long, so this is the reason behind me having to get stricter and stop squeezing in, just because there is a three week waiting time and I feel guilty for this, and I squeeze in as I hate to disappoint!
This is not a moaning post, by absolutely NO means (I hope it hasn't come across that way).. It's just to make you aware there is approx 2-3 weeks waiting time,... I am so so grateful for all my customers and truly humbled by the support from you all and I still very much LOVE my job... But I trust you all understand my position and understand the importance of pre booking your next appointment before leaving...
I am fur-ever grateful for your continued support and for keeping me as busy as I can be with family life... Without your support, I'd be nothing, I am so grateful... THANK YOU ❤️

Unfortunately there has been a number of no shows recently 😢.. Please message me if your unsure of your appointment time. I don't send reminders (as per post few months back), as like everyone, after work, personal life and three kids get in the way, and there is only so many hours in the day 😑. Just a polite reminder, apts cancelled with less than 24hrs, will require a late cancellation fee, unless of course I can get your slot filled, and in which case I will try by best, as I hate charging fees..I am very understanding, that life does happen to get in the way of us all.. Just be mindful of my time and where possible give me as much notice as possible...
As for NO SHOWS..
Well unfortunately there has been, a number of these lately.. By the time I realise you are not coming, it's too late to fill that slot, so unfortunately me standing watching the clock tick, doesn't pay my bills along with it being extremely frustrating 😭... Unfortunately I do have to charge for this, I HATE doing this but unfortunately I have too, before any future bookings can be made.

🗣️‼️ Excited to share some news ‼️🗣️ 🎓 I am currently in process of my Emmi-pet training and looking forward to offering this service in the very near future! 📆 I am unsure of a start date for this service, just yet... But it's looking like January now, as November and December are looking busy already, but that's to be expected 🎅🐾! 📖 I'm well into the training now at this stage.. But unfortunately it's took a little longer than I had first planned... this is down to life being hectic with the kids etc... slow and steady wins the race 🐌! 🆕 This service will be completed in my spare time, and will be my new hobby.. Cause let's face it, grooming dogs ain't a hobby no more 🤣, so I'll be limited to the number of clients I'll be able work on. So to be placed on the list please message me to express your interest and get on the list! ‼️It's a teeth cleaning / maintenance service...so this will not be available to every dog unfortunately ... Dogs with grade 3 (severe teeth plaque/gum Inflammation/loose teeth/teeth being held in place with plaque) will need veterinary dental treatment . 🪥This service will however, be ideal for dogs who have grade 1 and 2 (mild to moderate stains/plaque) and for dogs who's already had dental treatment recently and regular treatment with me now, will prevent them needing veterinary dental treatment with anaesthetic again.
Groomer Goals 👇👇👇 12 months ago (Sept 22) this wee lad was soooo freaked with the grooming process.. So much so, during the drying process he would, drool, heart racing, go buck mad and stress poo 💩 everywhere, even on me.. Whilst I'd try to reassure him... He was just petrified 😢.. His very understanding owner, worked with me and he came for a groom every 3 to 4 weeks for a few months and as he grew more comfortable with the process, the 4 weeks was stretched to 5, 6, 7 then 8 weeks eventually... Today he was an absolute pleasure to groom and i'd go as far as saying he even, enjoyed his pamper today! Just look how chilled he is under that dryer! To think this time last year he would have near killed himself by trying his utmost to get off the table!! This my folks... Is what I call a groomer goal 👌!!!! **When I suggest a dog/puppy needs to come monthly for a wash... This is NOT to line my pocket... This is solely for the benefit of the dog... I will always stretch the grooms out, when the time is right for the dog... Look at this boy.. It's paid off big time!
I won't lie.... boy am I glad to see that rain! I love the sun and the good weather BUT gosh thon heat the day near killed me in here! Wasn't an air! The dogs and I both, struggled in here today...appoligies for the longer than normal groom times today but the dogs needed breaks for their own safety... the heat was turned off the driers too so that slowed things down too!
