An update on the little dog that came to me and I advised owner to take to vet as I spotted blood in urine and excessive peeing, she has stones one being 2 1/2 cm also a urinary infection, operation next week 😢.

Yesterday I had 2 little dogs a pug boy and a cavalier mix girl in for a trial sleepover. On our morning walk the little girl was excessively peeing like I’ve never seen before. We got home and she peed on the patio when I looked it was full of blood not a bit a lot! She then spot peed all round the house and again noticed blood when she did it on the kitchen floor!
I rang her owner who I knew was going out for the day to say something is not good here I think you need to ring vet and come and pick the pups up when you can.
Had a vet appointment this morning and was diagnosed with kidney stones 😢. The lady said she would never of noticed the blood as she only pees on grass and wouldn’t have seen it, I did say what about the excessive peeing and she said she’s always done it. The lady is very grateful that I spotted this and hopefully treatment will sort the little love out.

Gosh how lucky am I to have such a lovely assortment of dogs that have boarded with me, what is even more rewarding is so many are repeat guests so happy that they feel happy at Home from Home dog boarding.
