Our Story
Whitehaven has been in our family since 1975, a peaceful haven with stunning sea and castle views. It is a five minute walk from the popular Gyllyngvase Beach and the attractive town is easily accessible. The house sleeps seven plus a cot. It has four bedrooms, including two with sea views and one downstairs bedroom, with an adjacent bathroom, so all ages can be accommodated. The Garden has a terrace and a summer house and is entirely secure. Dogs are welcome. Our house has been inspected and approved by the Visit Falmouth Inspection Scheme. We are open all year round including short winter breaks. Ground Floor: The large Lounge/Dining room overlooks the garden and contains a television with DVD player. The newly fitted Kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. There is a good supply of cutlery, crockery and glassware. A washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the Garage. Also on the ground floor is a sizeable downstairs bedroom with twin beds and a brand new bathroom next door with a shower unit, toilet and basin.
First Floor: The Master bedroom is large and airy and boasts a king sized bed, as well as a stunning view over the bay. The single bedroom next door shares this view. There is a further twin bedded room on this floor, plus a brand new second bathroom with a bath, walk in shower, toilet and vanity unit/basin.
Outside: There is a terrace with garden furniture and a secure, good-sized and interesting garden with a summer house.
General Information: Included in the price are duvets and blankets for all beds. Visitors need to bring their own towels.
