Hello all, I have just put a few bits on market place for sale. Lots of chicken drinkers and feeders available, also the shop shelving is available. We have electric fencing, tape and units available.

So the time has come to close Abbey Farm Feeds door for the very last time.
First of all a massive thankyou to our family and friends for all the support they have shown us not only over the last few days but also over the years.
A big thankyou to all of you that have popped in or sent us kind words over the last 2 days, it really does mean a lot.
We are going to take a little break and have a good think on how to move forward. We still hope to be able to do hay and straw from June onwards and can of course still do muck clearance.
Lastly I would like to say well done to my wonderful husband Barry Bartlett fought so hard every single day to try and save the shop, he built the shop from nothing and has had an amazing 13 years, well done love I’m so flippin proud of you... onwards and upwards we will survive.

My love to you all, and see you at the show.

Sadly tomorrow 10th Feb will be our last day of trading.
Due to continued economic pressures we have made unfortunate decision to close.
(All paid for orders will be delivered today and tomorrow)

I'm truly gutted to have to write this as this has been our life for over 13 years.
We've made some great friends and have had thousands of good laughs and jokes with our customers over the years.

We have 4 amazing judges for the show this year, This will be their first time with us, so lot's of new faces. ( many thanks to a special person for their help finding them)

We will be running the same schedule as last year as it worked so well.

I'm now happy to start taking sponsorship for the show, but I will state this will be on a first come and pay basis, unfortunately I will not hold onto any classes this year as last year I had a few people not pay.

A single class is £25
3 classes £60
We have 8 championships this year £60
Supreme championship is £85

These will include your name/business on the tails of the rosettes and if a championship will include sashes. Also we will put you on our schedule with contact details.

Please do sponsor as it helps run this show so much.

I have had quiet a few messages regarding the show for this year.

I can now announce that out show date is the 1st September 2024.

We will be running the same scheduled as last year and as always we are looking for sponsorship for the classes and championships, but more about that at the end of the month when I hope to release the judges that will be joining us.
