Hi everybody, I thought I'd update everyone as I've been very quiet since last year. I will be taking a short break. After working with a young, abused mare whose understandably incredibly sensitive, It resulted in me breaking my back and knee, I'm fully healed thankfully, hopefully nothing long term however I am having to under go physio which I need to focus on, in order to come back all look after, back and train all your lovely pony pals. I have also lost my rescue mare this year which was heart breaking especially after losing my youngster who I lost in a terrible accident end of last year, so I'm in need of some time to focus on myself to get back to 100%. I'll keep making regular updates, so hopefully I'll be back doing I love most and seeing all those happy faces that I'm currently missing.

Soo I’ve been quiet due to a fall or two from sacha a few weeks back, goes to show not everything goes to plan and accidents happen, unfortunately wasn’t caught on camera, it’s meant I’ve had to recover and stay off for about 4/5 weeks. However this week I finally started riding including sacha unfortunately no ear shots yet but I will get them eventually 😂. Lovely being back in the saddle and my boots. Breeze has come into walk work for 10 minutes here and there so happy to start getting my princess back even if it’s only a little bit 😍❤️😍

Sooo I’ve been a little quiet since sacha arrived as we didn’t just stop with the one baby but decided to take on another so meet Memphis a black nf 3 year old gelding on long term loan he’s got a lot to learn being only a baby but he’s a cheeky chap who’s earned the nickname mr squishy. Sacha is improving every day and today we decide to have a little wonder ba****ck down the field. They have both settled in with our little herd nicely and we look forward to what the future brings

So our breezy bobs is still lame and struggling and looking like a hippo again 🙄 unfortunately not the news we were hoping for, no competitions for us as she won’t be more then a happy hacker but although a long road ahead I’ll be able to ride my princess again at some point. The exciting bit is we now have a baby who’s just joined us 5yr old sacha who’ll hopefully be one I can compete once brought on and one my aunt can also enjoy as chu’s getting older and at some point will need slowing down.

Chu seems to be the only one rideable atm meaning my aunt gets to have some fun, chu has spent the Easter holidays teaching a kid to canter and rising trot. I may not ride her but she makes me so proud and 100% worth her weight in gold

So my beautiful breezy bobs went lame last Saturday we are almost at a week still lame but showing improvement. So lucky to have my aunt and her beautiful horse, we have a 6 week plan in place for once she becomes sound. I miss riding her but in no hurry she can have all the time in the world if that’s what it takes
