A little update:
This may have taken this rescue dog 5 months to get to this point but she has got there. When I first met Polly she was extremely fear aggressive due to her past and the way she was treated. It took us half an hour to walk out of her road due to the pure aggression behind her. She was unable to walk past people or dogs without a severe reaction due to the fear she had with the world.
Multiple training sessions, lots of love, reassurance, practice and patience, Polly has reached a point where she can walk alongside two other dogs without an aggressive reaction.
The progress with Polly has been amazing and we will continue to work together to keep he in proving and living a better life.
It's never too early to start training, 13 weeks old and recall training is well underway although we have a long way to go, great progress is being made already! 🐾
Before we started our training session Bow would lunge at other dogs, bark and growl, not only was this at other dogs but also bikes. The session was Carried out at Hengistbury Head on a busy Saturday. A combination of positive reinforcement and keeping her attention on me we achieved the behaviour seen in the video. Bow also managed to walk side by side with another dog without any problems.
The session that was completed was 1.5hours long and Bow was extremely well behaved by the end of the session and is now enjoying her walks a lot more!

Recall Training
Here is Daisy the Bedlington Terrier. She had minimal recall on arrival and was kept on a lead during walks. At this session we worked on off lead training including recall. This was took place in an open area. By the end of the session Daisy came back to her name.

No food was used to complete the stay signal, just leadership, focus and body language. Although it can not be seen in this video, on the opposite side of the road was another dog walking with his owner, before I started working with Mollie she would have displayed aggressive tendencies towards another dog instantly. Leadership of Mollie has resulted in the ability for her to be approached by other dogs and see them in the distance and stay in a calm state.
