Mourning gecko. Lepidodactylus lugubris is a small species of gecko. They reach a length of around 10cm (nose to tip of tail). They are a nocturnal species that prefer to hide away during the day and explore during the night. Becoming active at dusk. This species is primarily all female. Males are rare to find. They reproduce via parthenogenesis. Laying 2 eggs every 4 -6 weeks when mature.
They also make a cute little chirping noise and enjoy hunting small bugs.
