Welcome to The RAF Group! We are animal lovers with our own 16 animals who have decided to put our knowledge into action.

Here we intend on building our services as we go, but for now, we offer advice and bonding as we know how challenging it is!

Biscuits and Macie 🐰🐰 were next, Macie wasn’t a huge fan of Biscuits even though he was there first! 🤦‍♀️ It took a while for her to show any interest in him and stop chasing him but we got there in the end 😮‍💨 They’re home now and having an upgrade of their enclosure, once we get photos of them settled in their new place together we will post them on here 🐾

Last night we welcomed Belle & Nala! 🐰🐰. These two lovely ladies have come to us to be bonded as their hoomans have been struggling to get them to be besties at home since introducing Nala.

This is one of the main reasons why bonding fails as the original bunny becomes very territorial and therefore it is hard to find neutral territory. This is why considering us as an option to bond your beloved funbuns is a great option as it is a new area for all.

We know the stress of bunnies 🐰 not getting along 😡 . These are our own RAF residents and they all live together. We have had hiccups along the way and there are definite pairs who love 💕 each other more but we know what you are going through when you leave your bunnies 🐰 with us. Sootie, Mabel and Buddy 🐰🐰🐰 had many problems at the beginning and had to go off to be professionally bonded. It worked ✅ and they have been fine since but we’ve used that experience to hopefully make our services as stress-free as possible for you.

We get lots of questions asking what services we provide 🤔 It varies based on the support a bun-parent 🐰 requires, from the least involved resource packs right the way up to the complete experience 🐾

Our resource packs have been written by Lucy, the RAF’s very own vet 👩🏼‍⚕️. We’ve written a step by step guide to help you through the bonding process ✅ . We also do video consultations (which comes with the resource pack) and lasts 45 minutes. We can help you do the bonding process in your own home 🏡 by sharing tips and tricks to make sure you’re successful. Lastly, the complete bonding experience is where your bunnies 🐰 will come to us for a week (5 days) and we do the bonding for you 🤩. We only take one bonding group at a time to make sure we give them our undivided attention 🥰. After the five days we will reassess whether they need to stay longer or are able to go home 🏠 .

Interested in having your bunnies bonded? 🐰❤️ Visit our website and fill in an enquiry form 📝 . Either myself or Blaire 👯‍♀️ will respond in 48 hours asking for details of the bunnies 🐇🐇. We will then check availability for them to come and spend a week with us 📅 We will provide you with daily photos 📷 and updates and support for two weeks once the bunnies 🐰 have gone home 🏡 . If the bunnies 🐰 need longer we will contact you towards the end of the week to discuss whether you continue the process at home 🏡 or whether they will stay with us for longer ❤️

How long is a piece of string? 😵‍💫 🤷🏼‍♀️

Unfortunately this really varies between the individuals 🐇. We go on a week by week basis as some only need that length of time to settle down. Others however can take several weeks; if not months! 🤦‍♀️

We will be there to guide you every step of the way once they go home, they may not need to spend the whole time away bonding! 🤞🏼

A true bond between bunnies is wonderful to witness 💒 They will groom each other and lay together spooning 🐰🐰 It’s very important they aren’t separated after they’re bonded as it can break! 🚨

This is Sootie 🐰, a 3 year old Dutch bunny who started Blaire and Lucy’s journey into being rabbit parents! One rabbit 🐰 quickly spiralled into ten 😱 and we now have our completed fluffle 🥰 We know the stress of buns not getting along as we have had our own issues!

Stress bonding in bunnies is not ok 🛑 We do not force rabbits into enclosed spaces or use any form of negative punishment 🤬. It may take longer to form bonds but it’s the right way to do it!

Hi! 👋

We’re Blaire and Lucy, a couple 👯‍♀️ living in the South East London area who are crazy about animals 🤪. Blaire is bunny mad 🐰 and Lucy is a vet so combined we have wound up having a zoo of their own (1 dog, 2 cats, 10 rabbits, 1 tortoise, 1 hamster and 1 snake!) 🐶🐱🐰🐢🐹🐍

We started the RAF group to help others with their own fur babies, mainly in bunny bonding 🐇🐇 at the moment, but also other services such as dog walking/ tortoise hibernation etc.
