I began sketching horses back in my horse riding days at the "Silver Shoe" riding school. I have dabbled with oil and water colours but prefer acrylic for it's speed of drying and versatility. Being a staunch dog lover has led to me favouring them in my work. I find painting a great way to relax and escape from the t v.
