Please look out for Milo. He's been missing a few days now which is very unlike him. From Buckle Gardens, Roebuck Park, Hellingly. He's been known to wander down Park Road, but always comes home for food. He's normally wearing a blue collar and he is chipped.

Sadly this has happened. Please do not allow your dog to use the bridge for now. We will get this fixed as soon as we can obtain a replacement scaffold board. I'm told the parish council do know who is responsible.

Nice to see so many new and familiar faces at the Saturday Social this morning. After the puppies had gone, Paul, Isabel and Jack spread a load of new wood chip in the park. Thanks again to Jill for the wheelbarrow.

The dog park is open again now the fallen tree has been removed. Can you spot the difference? Roads are now passable following this week's flooding, but some paths in the park are still a bit icy. Regular puppy socials will start again this Saturday at 11am. Also if anyone would like to come along around 12pm and help move some wood chip into the park we'd love the help - bring a shovel.

This is Isabel, creator of the Hellingly Dog Park, and Benji, the newest addition to our family. Isabel will be hosting a puppy meet at the dog park on Saturdays at 11am, starting on 1st October. All fully vaccinated dogs up to 1 year old are welcome. Please let us know if you're hoping to come a there's limited space in the dog park.

Goose has now been found.

Little dog missing near the dog park called Goose, only 5 months old, very timid and missing nearly 3 hours now. Please look out for her

If these are your kids, or you know their parents, please can you remind them that the Dog Park is not designed for playing in. We have already had to replace the hurdle crossbars 4 times.
This was around 7pm on Thursday 5th May.
The last few seconds show one of these lads climbing on the bench, which has been moved nearer the tree, so they can switch off the camera.

One of the parents has now come forward so I've removed the video.

We are very sad to share the news that the First Lady of the dog park, our beautiful family dog Csssie, passed away yesterday.
Only a few weeks ago she was running around the beaches of Cornwall like she was still a pup, but for the last few days she had been far from herself.
Her passing was very sudden and a huge shock to us, but we're thankful she didn't have to suffer for long.
She inspired Isabel's great plan for the dog park and tested every obstacle during construction and it will always be her legacy.
She will be very sorely missed.

The Dog Park camera has been up for a week now and has been triggered over 300 times. Mostly this has been people exercising their dogs and there's been no damage since the camera went up, which is great news.
There have been a few instances of children (and adults) jumping the hurdles. Please remember the dog park obstacles are not designed for the weight of a person and will break under your weight. Your child (or you) may also be injured.
The camera does also work at night, as demonstrated by a local cat just after 2am on 27th April.

Today we built the top of the dog walk (bridge) and the 2nd hurdle.
A real team effort today, and some stone-age ingenuity. Cassie's still not sure about the see-saw though.
We're still looking for 2 more scaffold boards...

Today we installed 3 more obstacles; the first of 2 hurdles, a see-saw and tyre jump. All were tested by Cassie as usual, but please don't use them with your own dogs just yet as the posts need time to settle and still lots more to be done. Thank you to young Edward for some extra help today.
