*POLITE REMINDERS*

Everyone who has signed up using my online software would’ve agreed to my terms and conditions, but I don’t know about you, I don’t read them 😂 So I thought I’d make some posts about some of my terms and conditions so everyone knows what they are.

‼️Please do not bring your dog into my groomers if they have any of the following:-

1. Sickness
2. Diarrhoea
3. Coughing
4. Fleas
5. Mites
6. Seeming under the weather

🦠All of these symptoms could easily pass from dog to dog.

If dog comes in with fleas I have to close my groomers for the rest of the day and deep clean and let off a flea bomb - losing the rest of the days incomes.

If you dog is showing any of these signs please let me know as soon as possible and I can reschedule your appointment. I’d much rather your dog is resting at home recovering, and then we can get the haircut sorted when they’re feeling 100%! 🐾🐾

I love this 🩶

Just a dog.
From time to time people tell me “chill out, it’s just a dog” or “it’s a lot of money just for a dog.” They don't understand the distance traveled, the time invested, or the costs incurred by "just a dog".
Some of my proudest moments have occurred with “just a dog.”
Many hours have passed being my only company "just a dog", but not for one moment did I feel despised. Some of my saddest moments have been because of “just a dog,” and on those gray days, the gentle touch of “just a Dog” gave me comfort and the reason to get through the day.
If you also think “it’s just a dog”, then you’ll probably understand phrases like “just a friend”, “just a sunrise” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person.
For "just a dog" I will get up early, take long walks and look forward to the future. So for me and people like me, it’s not “just a dog,” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the memories of the past, and the absolute joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out the good in me and takes my thoughts away from myself and daily worries.
I hope one day they can understand that it’s not “just a dog”, but the one that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a human.” So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog”, just smile because they “just don’t get it”.

Dog grooming isn’t one size fits all, so I tailor each appointment to work best for your dog. Whether that is grooming them on the floor for comfort, doing smaller appointments to build up confidence, offering meet and greets (which are 20 minute appointments to give you and your dog a chance to come in and meet me before your actual grooming appointment), and many other options.
I want to make the grooming process as easy and as nice for you and your dog, so I will do my absolute best to make that possible. 🐾

I’ve been grooming for 3 years now, and still love it everyday! I studied dog grooming in Sidmouth and Paignton and continue to attend seminars and trainings to keep my skills topped up!

Spring clean Sundays 🧹🫧

After three years in this room I decided it was in need of a bit of a spruce up, so spent my day deep cleaning and putting up new wallpaper. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

🚨🚨 We are coming into shedding season! 🚨🚨

Typically between March and June is when our canine friends shed their winter coats into their summer coats. Any dog that sheds can benefit from a trip to the groomers to help remove all their dead coat and leave them smelling beautiful and looking shiny.

Had a very exciting visit from this beautiful girl the other day. Her first visit to help tame the coat before her big trip to Crufts! She was such a gorgeous girl inside and out, still not super confident with the dryer around her head (hence why it still looks slightly damp!).

Look forward to seeing her and her mum in March for their last minute tidy ups! 🐾

I keep receiving lots of cold callers on mobile numbers at the moment so never sure who is phoning to book a dog in or sell me health insurance 😂

🚨‼️ROAD CLOSURES‼️🚨

To anyone who has an appointment from the 22nd Jan to the 26th Jan please be aware there are roadworks happening at the beginning of the lane (just after the park and primary school) and the road is advertised as closed.

I have called the company organising the closure and they have said residents and traffic for businesses based on Dreybury Lane can still come down, just please allow an extra 10 minutes for them to move out of the road and allow traffic through.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

This week I’ve been kept very busy with some absolutely gorgeous wire haired dachshunds, one only being a sweet 6 month old pup having her first session at a groomers.

All come in for a handstrip and tidy up. All four of them absolutely lovely dogs! 💕💕
