Libby from Derby come and found us for a bucket but was a bit camera shy. She had a sherbet and popping candy bucket which she was sharing with her family.

Open today from 12 till late but doughnuts will be available 1 till 5 due to the shop gets too hot to work comfortably. This is a whippy bucket I did yesterday for two young lads. They chose lemon and lime sauces....very summery we thought!

Due to the lovely warm weather that's finally arrived and the fact our shop is so small and every piece of equipment throws out heat we
WIll NOT BE FRYING DOUGHNUTS TODAY OR TOMORROW. Yesterday it was 40 degrees in the shop which is too much to expect our lovely staff to stay jolly. Also it puts all our fridges and freezers under pressure and they don't work so well. So for the sake of our staff and our expensive equipment the fryer will remain off for the next two days. Thank you for your understanding and will update when they are back on. Alison and Simon

Anyone who has ever bought a slush machine will no how expensive they are and if they go wrong the parts are like buying gold. We are lucky here at munchies that the boss Simon was a mechanic in a former life and has managed to replace a motor on one side costing us £200 rather than £600. Phew as it looks like the good weather is finally arriving and Slushies are a real favourite when it's hot.

Pirate day 24 it's a wrap! What a fabulous atmosphere in Hastings this weekend and we all worked our sox off. The trade was so welcome as it's been so slow due to all the rotten weather
