Gosh absolutely itching to start pressure washing and repainting!!
Crikey, it's The dirtiest time of year but I had to share a little update. ♥️
So here is our exciting weekend!!
Sorry I didn't update yesterday.
By the time everyone had arrived it was dark.
We are so honored to have been asked to accommodate such lovely horses, people and lorries.
Wishing them all the best weather and hope they have a fantastic day here in Pembrokeshire riding the preseli mountains.
A warm coffee will be waiting for them to welcome them back tonight 😀
Disclaimer-the cat you can hear is called Lully and she is absolutely fine, she's just walking around the yard calling out to see where I've gone ❤️

New Mill Stables would like to proudly introduce CHAMPAGNE TWO IMPRESS. (AKA Theo.)
Here for the purposes of Standing At Stud to Approved Mares -
Imported from USA.
15.2hh
Amber Champagne Tobiano American Paint stallion,
5 panel N/N.
"Theo" is an excellent cross on most types of mare - he is the whole package. He passes on his sweet nature, trainability, excellent conformation and paces as well as the possibility of his rare champagne colour gene.
Please don't hesitate to Contact us for more information and to see photos of previous offspring.
Wanting to compete but dont have the time??Wanting to compete but dont want the pressure??
Here at New Mill we pride ourselves on being a training centre able to offer training for both horse and rider.
However... We would now like to further our services and enter New Mill as a competition venue but from a training perspective.
Currently in the arena there is a show jumping course containing a double and a triple.
We would like to invite all current and previous clients of New Mill to come and compete!!
We intend to offer two classes...
A course aimed at novice/nervous/new combinations (This class will mainly be poles on the ground) and a second course with heights reaching approx 75cm.
Usual SJ rules apply. 4 faults for a knock down, refusal or circle. All clear rounds go forward to a jump off against the clock.
Rosttes for 1st-6th place in each class.
The competition will run over TWO weeks. Starting on the 10th of July until the 22nd of July. Riders will be able to compete Tues-Sun 10am-7pm each week. This allows riders to compete at their convenience and lesuire. It also allows riders to compete in private eliminating any added pressure on the horse or rider. Riders are also able to have lessons or school hire before hand using the course as practice as many times as they like, However the jump off will only be annouced once the rider has completed their clear round in the competition!!
All scores will be recorded and results will be announced at 7pm on the 22nd of July.
We must stress this is a fun competition aimed to allow further training and experience.
If you have had a horse stay with us for any reason, if you have had lessons or simply hired the arena you are welcome to compete.
There is a £5 entry fee for each class and we ask that riders enter the appropriate class for themselves and their horse.
All profits will go towards improving and adding further facilities at New Mill so as you grow, hopefully we will grow with you.
Any questions pleas
Managed to grab a video of how fab this surface really is!!!
Even under 3-4"s of snow, it remains un-frozen.
Its great in the wet. Great in the dry. Simply does not freeze.
It requires very little maintenance, it even prefers you to NOT pooh pick.
What more could we ask for?
Absolutely Thrilled with the surface and product.

Hi all.
We hope you're all having a Happy snow day!!
We would just like to let our owners and liveries know all horses here at New Mill are fine and well.
We are under 4 odd inchs of snow and the roads down to us are too dangerous to drive.
Please stay home safe.
All the horses are in high spirits, each one warm and dry with plenty of access to hay and non frozen water, secretly thankful for the day off.
A huge Thanks to our neighbours Sally Goodman and family for all your help and the lift home.
Now to enjoy a rare but welcomed early finish.
